Why? I don't understand.
Judging by the information from steam, season 3 won't come out until after episode 12 is finished anyway.
The only explanation is to tease fans with new previews and trailers, smoothing out the wait.
He realizes that ep 11 won't come out this year and the new trailers, info, spoilers are like a Christmas present.

The positive aspect of DPC don't giving a fuck about consistency is that we won't have to wait extra time for a remake of the previous renderings. That would be a torture.

DPC always comparing whole Season 1 with episode 11. Always omitting that Season 1 had been developed in a shorter time, with more content (from zero), despite the much less powerful hardware used at that time. Let's compare.

Moreover, I don't like the last few episodes. I think they have a lot of empty and useless content and cheap high school drama.

Regarding the whole animation debate. I don't think they are horrible when they come out or that they shouldn't be part of the game (for example people laughing at Zoey run animation and I think it was okay) - the issue is how long it takes to develop that and it is not done in more efficient way. I recently made many saves replaying game from zero and my fondest moments in the game were the static renders where you "Click to continue" and if your fancy animations are outdone by such simple thing as this then maybe ambitions and perfectionism should be somewhat calmed down.
