I really can't see how Rio's abduction could be long term, even if Quinn lied and said she had an family emergency that made her leave for a while people would start to get very worried if she didnt answer any messages or calls.
Its probably going to be a quick solution, just a scare tactic to make Quinn back down from Vinny territory.
i dont remember the scene how was it. did vinny took Rio in the car and drive or we saw only him took her in the car? because if he didnt drive away, he can pick up her phone while calling is happening with Quinn. so, speak with her a few words and done. he dont even have to worry about the phone has password or not.
