Sancho is not on F95 anymore anyway, so using his mods on past versions will mean you have to remove it and fix your saves with the next update. Unless he returns, it wouldn't be smart to use them now.

I never used Sanchomod, but does it also create new variables like Scrappy? Do the saves need fixing too?

I mean that he can create and render a scene with complex geometry and large number of polygons, while others can't afford it because of limited budget. Can developer A afford to create a scene like large as the voting scene for best costume in Ep9?
He can also enhance the image quality in various ways. Increase the number of samples, place more light sources which will affect noise, increase resolution, increase the level of subdivision which will increase the number of polygons, etc.
If I want to develop a game, I will not be able to create the same large-scale scenes with all my desire. I will be forced to create chamber games with a small number of characters and thus compensate for the lack of performance.

DPC still poses and renders statics with a single 4090. Because you cannot Nvlink two 4090s. If you have two on a PC there is no real benefit. Also he doesn't use RT heavy scenes, his scenes still have basic lighting setup compared to what you can see around. He doesn't look for cinema photography and his priority is to produce fast a lot of images.
Setting up a scene takes almost the same time with a 4070 or 4090 (4090 is faster at previews and has more VRAM that helps a lot in complex scenes, as you wrote).
Many developers have got a single 4090, so they are not at real disadvantage for static renderings.
You are right to say that he's facilitated a lot overall, because he can fully do animation rendering with his other PCs. That's his unmatched hardware strength.
I also think his success is not for CGI but for the writing and the ideas he got (he's also good at coding). And he's really among the best at project management.

For the voting scene (ep 9) DPC fused a few separate renderings because he was using a 3090 at that time (I have not checked the timing). Even a 4090 24GB I doubt would fit that much.

I just don't want people to be discouraged into thinking you need DPC's setup to obtain very good renderings because as we can see in the fan art threads there are people with limited hardware that are doing marvellous stuff. I also browse some CGI communities once in a while and there are so many talented and unknown artists with cheaper graphic cards.

Sancho mod is a masterpiece. It basically works as a very detailed guide and does not interfere with the game directly and the modder made it his priority to make sure saves don't fuck it up for future versions of the game. You will need the mod remover on new update, but that's a simply process and your saves look just like non-mod saves. There are even some cheats for minigames that do not break your saves apparently, but I use Sancho mod simply for +Dik +Chick and +Relationship guides, as well as notification when money or special render is on screen. This is excellent mod for this game!

I don't know about Scrappy's I've never used it. I've never used Sancho's either, but I know he did provide a save fixer that you could drop in the folder and your saves could be used in future versions. Without it, it would crash the game.

I use URM because i know it doesn't change any variables and you don't have to wait for the mod to be updated to use it.

I assume this was about me. Yes, I know it was two months ago. Real life got hectic and I needed to immerse myself a bit more thoroughly in games to cope. So thoroughly I couldn't keep up with the thread. I've tried to catch up here and there, but then real life got more hectic and now I'm almost 10K posts behind. There have been quite a few things I wanted respond to, but... too far behind.

This however seems to need a response even if it is two months late. So what I'm going to try to do now is keep up with where the thread is currently while catching up on what I missed.

It's nice to know that I was missed.

It's hard to say when I jumped on the Sage train, it happened gradually. I've been with the game since the very beginning, back in the pre-Covid era, when I knew nothing about F95. After nothing worked out with M/J because of DIK affinity, I became more and more interested in Sage and she began to win my attention back in Ep.4, first with her wildness and audacity, but in the second season she grew a lot as a person and finally secured herself as the best girl by Ep. 6-7.
But back then, I looked at the game differently, having only one fucked up save file with a leaked Jade video. It's since 2022 that I've been exploring the game so deeply, Sometimes I even forget that this is a damn porn game.
And then I wasn't interested in Bella as LI at all, now she's great to me and second on the MGs list

At the beginning I did not think Sage is a main L.I. material. I thought she is just another slutty character in the game that has a boyfriend problem. I am more invested in Jill as my main girl. She is so innocent and your typical girl next door with a sense of justice. But as the game progress Sage character development went up a notch from 4 to 10. She is very intelligent person who and a great leader. She cares about her friends. I can list alot of things about her but you guys get the jizz of it. When I first play the game I just want to unlocked all the scene so we became fuck buddies which is fine if it's just to unlocked rhe sex scene. But on my sexond run on her character I chose to be her friend and for me this is the best Sage playthrough because mc and Sage become friends to being lovers. There has a stronger foundation compare to being fuckbuddies. Looks like alot of us did not fall in love with Sage character at the beginning but ended up being the top L.I.

And what do you expect to happen, you play Season 3 fresh? This game have so many variations and routes, not to mention quality experience along the way that not only builds your character, but those around you depending on your choices and actions.

Do yourself a favor and play Season 1-2 yourself, it's very important chunk of the game not some chore. Seasonal split is simply due to size, otherwise Season 3 would be in same game where Season 1-2 is.
