Interesting take, if anything, she doesn't want to depend on anyone.

It's more of a give and take thing. A partnership. Look at her relationship with Quinn, she made herself have to completely depend on Quinn and Quinn has to depend on her. She literally has nowhere else to turn.
She told the MC he was the one she'd been looking for. She knows she's in deep and that Vinny's dangerous so she depends on him for protection.

Is it possible to help the girls with their story stuff while not banging them? for example, I like doing the music stuff for Jill and it would suck not being able to help her on someone else's route.

Because she's not an idiot. She needs Quinn so she knows when to back down. It's one thing to stand up and another to burn a bridge. She wanted Quinn to accept her as a friend she could trust and that wouldn't happen if she came to blows with Quinn.

Yes for the most part you can still help the girls, for sure you can help Jill with her concert even if you aren't on her path, as long as you are in good terms with her of course (and try on your guitar at least twice), of course you can also still help Maya with her home situation.

I think I only ended up noty helping Jill twice in my playthroughs, my very first one (forgot to use the guitar a 2nd time) and when I was on the DIK/Quinn playthrough.

You can, yep. Quinn is the only one you can't help if not on her route. That's one of the great things with Being a DIK, there are many friendships you can keep without losing any major content. It's not like some other VNs where if you turn down a girl you never see them again.

Awesome, thanks folks! Continued a little after choosing and went through Sage's let down scene, she is so chill about it which makes it easier but solo routes feel like the way to go if i can still help them out.

Chapter 12 is too early, but when the final confrontation gets tough a return of her as an unexpected joker would not surprise me at all

I initially thought Mona was going to be the nail in Quinn's coffin, but that possibility is gone now, bigger villains have entered the picture
