If it's the same person, there must be some other objective, otherwise why share it only with Stephen? He kept it in his back pocket until now. Maybe after he resigns, then the video gets leaked by the mystery party: once again the DIKs have ruined the reputation and career of another teacher, and even tore apart a prominent family. And of course, extra damage on Sage's path.
