Like hugging Maya after Patrick leaves? I'd count that.
From what is determined by your affinity, I like how MC is more daring in the dialogues on the DIK version:
-He teases Sally "I like you better naked and drunk"
-He tells Tommy "Fuck you" instead of begging where the keg is hidden.
It's subtle and cool.

You would rate "not major" the big choice about who to save in his previous game?
That's different. That choice made sense since the MC could only carry one person and passed out because of the smoke after. But forcing you to cheat on your girlfriend is a completely different thing.

But you couldn't choose to pursuit one girl only. The other one was always forced on you.

A lot of fake choices in that game.

Practically who to save was the only real choice.
I still haven't done a second playthrough because that ending messed me up for days, but I remember having the option to turn down the other girls. Even the best friend.

You can turn down the side girs, but there's nothing you can do to not romance Melissa or Megan.

You can _apparently_ turn down Leah... but she will do what she does anyway.

How the fuck you guys made over 200 posts in less than 14h with no news from the patreon.
It's been a slow day.:sneaky:
"Save both" would've ended with all three of you dying, that's the kind of fucker thing DPC would do :KEK:
The game is pretty clear with that. He could only carry one at a time and collapsed from the smoke after saving the first.

I must be remembering it wrong. I thought you could choose between them.

I did a second playthrough precisely to pursue just one of them in order to have just one girl to save from the fire, and thus not letting anyone burn to death, but no matter what you do: they are both there, both of them passed out in the arson.
So no actual good ending is possible, and this is dumb.

"Life ain't easy"... stupid DPC.

I get that in life nobody is gonna have all they want and experience loss, BUT in 98% of the cases the death of a beloved one is NOT caused by a rejected sociopat... And in 99.99% of the cases one isn't forced to decide who to save and who to let die... :WeSmart:

I understand why, since that was the story he wanted to tell. If you could avoid the death, it would have ment that majority would have done so.

I didn't mean avoid the death, I ment not dating both girls. I know both move in, no matter what, but I thought one of them could live there as just a friend.

The game had 22 endings, I wonder how many got all of them. It's very heavy in the end so I suspect that many didn't want to go through the ending 22 times.

As soon I realized that no matter what I had to let one of them burn alive, I abandoned the game for good.

Me, I got so hooked that I had to see the end. I was just going to play one chapter that night because it was late, that chapter happened to be the one with the fire, so I kept playing until the game was over. Then I went to Patreon, subscribed for a month to pay for the game (this was before the Steam release) and tell DPC my feelings about the game. I think I both praised and damned him at the same time. :ROFLMAO:

Edit: I checked. I called him an evil sadist and told him I loved the game.
