Patches are just for new updates/bug fixes. Download 1+2, then download 3 separately. When Episode 11 comes out, you can download the patch so you don't have to redownload all of Season 3.

While it's technically possible to render arbitrary text at an angle in real time (and crop it to the borders of the phone screen), I would be very impressed if it were an option in RenPy, and it would be a pain to try to code it to work at all, let alone getting it to look good.
Rendering text into an image is a very different thing from displaying it in a text box.
