HE is a bit impulsive, but understandable. What is more of a problem, is that Josy and Maya not talked for a second about why he stormed out, and why he is so upset, until MC confront them

No no no, all development is stopped and thrown in the dumpster right this second. He needs to redo everything before we get the new and improved Episode 11, but we don't know how improved it is because we never got the original one.

This is so wrong on every level. These are the first two gals that MC had real feelings for since Zoey left. He knew that Josy had a "boyfriend" (his assumption, but uncorrected by her), but not that it was Maya. Similar situation with Maya. The big shock was not just that they were each other's significant other, but that all three of them were all lying to each other.
Those lies were never fully revealed to each other until the DIK party, where you either join the throuple or not. That's what his whole speech to them was about. Not that he loved them both, and them each other. That the lying all around was too upsetting and exhausting, and was weighing on him in a big way.
MC is involved in all the lies, but it's not cannon that he was lying, as you can be honest about seeing someone. MC had no knowledge to reveal that he was cheating with the other's partner, because he had no idea that they were together, or even that Josy was bi. Heck, until the MC came around, Maya had never been sexually attracted to a man.

MC has got a lot of pent of issues stemming from Zoey and he projects this onto them because of his own lack of transparency in the past (with Zoey). He even questions later on whether or not he overreacted.
Yeah it's dumb. It adds unnecessary drama into a story arc that doesn't need it but that's DPC for you though.
