Honestly you should just start over. Set all expectations to zero and just let the characters be who they are. If there are holes, let the holes be there. Or if you insist on filling the holes with guesses at least remember that you were guessing and don't dig in your heels when you run into info that contradicts your guesses. Mostly just accept that you don't know and open your mind to what the story actually tells you.

I feel like both occasions are what sage would do, either fuck them and catch feelings later since she is a kinda a romantic or the friendship turned into a relationship. Either way, she catches feelings. I agree exploring more of sage's character and I am like "Should I just become a chick to match her feelings or stay as a dik to match her sexual tendencies lol"

Do you really not understand the phrase "isn't it about time"? It implies that something HAS NEVER HAPPENED. It's not what you say when something hasn't happened for some time.

This makes perfect sense if our assumption about the 2 years ago flashback are wrong, and Sage was just chasing him at that point and they got together just a few months before Fuckface came to B&R. A few months with no sexual progress is enough to make Sage frustrated and think he cheats, Jade think he is gay and doesn't contradict the wording used to describe them.

Bottom line if the relationship was not long term, it doesn't portray Sage as retarded anymore, just blindly in love/having a crush putting up with his 'shyness' in the bedroom. Also, Sage is not a virgin before Chad either way so It wouldn't change anything, like I said before, if the game doesn't make a big deal about a girls virginity/lack of experience than the opposite is obvious, we don't need details that can be easily inferred from her scenes with the MC.

Just as a general point, it's not "really unbelievable" at all. It's entirely possible to have a long relationship, especially at school, without having sex, and with there being a whole host of reasons either or both partners might choose not to have sex.

In this scenario, it could easily be a reversal of what we probably see as the norm - she wanted it (based on what we see of her appetite, and comments she specifically made to Chad) but he might have wanted to wait until they were married, or wait until they were graduated, or wait because he's just "not ready yet". If it were the other way round and the girl was the one not putting out, would it be questioned so much?

But you don't actually know that they were together for two years, only that Sage was into him two years ago. Chad may have had multiple beards during those two years. Then perhaps only a few months ago he broke up with his previous beard and gave Sage a chance.

An obvious objection to this would be Sage's pride. Would she accept being the second choice. No she probably wouldn't and that might be why she didn't go for an earlier chance when Chad was changing beards. Then she regretted being too proud and when there was a new chance she took it. And of course if Chad changed beards frequently enough Sage had more cause to suspect him of cheating. But then that begs the question: why didn't the previous girls get vengeful and out either his penis problems or him being gay?

So how was Chad not with Sage, not outed by a previous beard and still hiding his sexuality?

This is where I move to serious speculation which while plausible has absolutely zero in game support.

1) Chad has known a long time that he is gay, but has reasons to hide it. His situation might be very similar to Maya's. He might be so intent on hiding it that even other gay guys haven't found out. He gets to college and is well "mad lad Chad"

2) At first it works and other guys buy the performance enhancer excuse, but then they start suspecting him because their own stuff isn't that bad. So Chad "gets a long distance girlfriend".

3) It goes well for a while, but then Chad and Troy get together. I'll leave how that happened to everyone's imagination. Maybe they just got drunk.

4) The girlfriend in Canada is not really plausible anymore since Chad now shows clear signs of getting laid, so Chad "breaks up with her" and gets together with Sage.

5) At first Sage is patient with the guy whose only serious relationship was long distance. She'll have heard he "cheated on his long distance girlfriend", but doesn't dig deeper to a few "one night stands". Then she starts getting suspicious and finds the panties.

6) Being a DIK begins.

Like I said zero support in game, but I find it a plausible chain of events. Sage of course fucked a whole lot while Chad wasn't available. She most definitely is not a virgin.

On the subject of Jill, I'm inclined to believe she was meant to be a virgin from the start. Sheltered rich virgin is a trope.

i think her failed faithfulness has not much to do with them having sex before or not. i dont have knowledge about ep 10 Sage path. Chad taking things slow was that part where i agreed with you.
