Did an error occur when you extracted the game. If yes you should download it again. If no then the game just takes time to load and wait for a bit.

Sounds like Episode 6 then. He's normally in his room (bottom floor), but should be waiting for you in the dining room by the end of the free roam. When in doubt, just use the fast travel thing and cycle through all the rooms.

I think there is a scene in his room during the free roam, and then also in the dining room to end the free roam.

Go to his room and click on the curtain to the right of the dance floor, that's where he should be. After that, he'll be in the dining room.
