If curiosity doesn't get the better of me, after I play EP.11, I'll stop following the weekly status updates. I wasn't excited about EP.11, but I realized that my interest increased a lot after I started following the status updates.

If the wait is already agonizing now, imagine when we get to the point where we have 1 update every two years...

The price of having a plotline for 6 girls plus several side girls. Not only will it take 2 years to to make, the game will feel "shorter" because they have to divide their attention across all the plotlines. But people who are dedicated to only girl will feel ripped off or 'cheated'. No one can win, unless you are insane like me and play every conceivable playthrough.

I guess the 6th plotline you mention is either Quinn or Riona? Since we only have 5 MGs.

I know guys (myself included) who only play one route! It's like playing 6-8 hours and waiting 2 years.
Even DPC has already said he is aware that there are players who only play the Riona route, for example.

To be fair, each other path only takes 2-3 hours if you only read new dialogue and don't do minigames (if they come up).

Yes, you can finish each path within the same day and then go back to waiting again. If you only play one path, that's your prerogative. You're going to wait slightly longer for ep 12.

I tried playing the other routes (both MG and SG), I managed to reach EP.8 in some of them and abandoned others early on. Some people play all the routes to see all the content in the game (completionist), others play out of curiosity.

I can't play any game if I'm not excited about the plot or the characters. When I tried to play other routes (I'm talking about other routes than my favorite) I felt like I was doing a chore and not having fun. It's not hard to imagine that some people only play 1-2 paths in Being a DIK.

If that happens am gonna do what MiltonPowers did i'm gonna play the game with chick, dik and neutral path for every possible L.I. (including Main and Others and am gonna even make a Madame Rose save file) and I'm gonna up the notch. I will not gonna skip any dialogue even if I already know what they gonna say. Gonna play all the mini game including the mansion where i'm gonna make 2 scenario were I succeed and fail. I think in the span of 2yrs. I will manage to cover all the girls.
