you don't really pay much attention to the game story , narrative do you?No, I don't see the logic why Sage and Bella path still give the Others option, but MJ and Jill don't. Imo it should be either with all of them or none of them.
You don't see the logic behind making every path different, but somehow still blending them into the canon story? No, I don't see the logic why Sage and Bella path still give the Others option, but MJ and Jill don't. Imo it should be either with all of them or none of them.
you seems to not pay much attention to the narrative either, but ironically you somehow pointing out the logic what you don't see.I really don't see the logic either... You're basically forced into having a relationship... Another case of Mr. DPC robbing us of our agencies... If he wanted to write kinetic stories he should have done it...
I usually don't care because this usually only happens in those completionist runs when I'm pursuing a specific girl, but that I don't think it's well-written, I don't.
This is not giving the girls different personalities... This is Mr. DPC forcing a personality into the player...
I'm obviously missing something here. When are you forced into having a relationship?I really don't see the logic either... You're basically forced into having a relationship... Another case of Mr. DPC robbing us of our agencies... If he wanted to write kinetic stories he should have done it...

And, if I remember well, it fucked me once, because I was trying to do a neutral run that would serve for all paths (minus M&J) and, then, I only would split saves there, but I couldn't... Because of Jill, I guess... It's been a long time, though, so I have to check... But I remember at least once, if not twice, having problems at that point.
This is not giving the girls different personalities... This is Mr. DPC forcing a personality into the player...
I also thought it was kind of strange that some paths cut you off from others. About the only one I could see cutting you off from others is the Jill path after the picnic the picture stops you from sleeping with several girls from the other path but I don't recall a moment like that with Maya and Josy. And even with the picture moment with Jill you can still choose to be with someone else, just not others.I'm obviously missing something here. When are you forced into having a relationship?
If I'm reading what you wrote right, you're saying you are forced into a relationship because you have to split paths earlier than you wanted to. That's the very opposite of kinetic.
What I was trying to say, was a game where you can do everything the same and when you get to a certain point pick AB or C to finish it off. That's kinetic adjacent and boring to me.
Whereas, a game where if you pick A now, then C is off the table or D is going to happen, at a later point is much more interesting and adds more replayability to it.
Narratively entirely different scenarios.I also thought it was kind of strange that some paths cut you off from others. About the only one I could see cutting you off from others is the Jill path after the picnic the picture stops you from sleeping with several girls from the other path but I don't recall a moment like that with Maya and Josy. She was crying because Derek had sex with fattyDo we ever find out why Ashley was crying at the prep party where Elena is consoling her? My guess is that Stephen made a move on her( just like he did with Mona), but I'm not sure.
Okay, i will a few minutes to explain to yo because your statement annoys me. Even I know it and I played tve story last one year ago and still know it.No, I don't see the logic why Sage and Bella path still give the Others option, but MJ and Jill don't. Imo it should be either with all of them or none of them.

First you have to understand that the MJ acts in the tree different relatiobshipw differently because he is with three different girls.
Bella ist very secretive, close-minded, difficult to lure out of her shell and still not sure what this thing with MJ is. Do not forget he is a 19-year old frat boy (and not a not man) at college. He will of course interact with hot college girls when he has no clue what to do with this such indifferent, difficult to describe tie with Bella, if it has a future, it lasts long, nor if it is exclusive or official. He naturally will make other girls happy as long Bella keep him starving on her stretched arm. He is caring and patient, but also daring and wont easily waste a chance with other girls. Especially when he is very popular with the ladies.
Next is Sage. Sage is popular, daring, self-conscious, wild, open-minded and a natural-born leader but also caring and supportive girl. With her, MJ acts secure, easy and without second-guessing. Imo he is vibing with Sage the most but that's only a personal statement. Of course it is self-explanatory they are in a mutual loving, exclusive relationship. But he will string some fiddles if he gets offered an instrument to play with as long he does not get caught. MJ is not shy. Thats's for sure if you see him dealing with the strippers. Heck, Sage was even dressed as a slutty high school girl at the Halloween party and hooked up with him on that village stock.
Both women explain his interaction with the ladies. Jill is different as she resemböes more Blla but MJ acts more like with Sage as with Jill if you compare Bella with Jill. She is insecure, inexperienced, tend to be romantic and wants to take things slow. MJ is, i assume, her first boyfriend. As usually he is a trouble-magnet with a soft core as you can see on her rehearsal. He is, naturally, exclusive with her. But he already has done some stuff causing her to interject ciritics. The springlink system incident on Ty's frat party wih the HOTs, him blackmailing Jill with pressing charges to due a non-existent fire, getting in brawling with Chad, Dawe and the Alphas, smashing and egging Ty, running naked in public during Hell Week, burglaring and trashing Ty's room, stealing the deer head and her money and his inability to stay out of trouble. Being with her is time-consuming and needs time to vibe. Those two a natural opposites trying to be together. He cares for her and know how she thinks. No way is deliberately risking something in at least most of the cases. They are not on the same flow/page.
Do you understand know?
It is the time when something inside him sparked and started rethinking and scrutizing his motivstions and actions. He knew immediately he has to behave when he wants to be with her.you seems to not pay much attention to the narrative either, but ironically you somehow pointing out the logic what you don't see.
" I'm pursuing a specific girl,"
those specific girls having specific path and narrative, from the get go, that is different than an another specific girls . Josy x Maya, and Jill, have a different narrative than Bella and Sage .
Obviously you feel that way strongly, but I'm not sure dumping Jill for Sage and telling her you never really clicked and demolishing her make more sense than deciding to dump her for Riona who you can also get on a chick run. You could sleep with Riona all through the game, help her out with her stalker at the dorm party and be on a primarily chick path and being with Jill doesn't stop you from dumping her for Sage, but it does for others like Riona. We obviously don't agree, I just think its an odd choice. I don't think it wrecks anything, I just felt it was an odd choice.Narratively entirely different scenarios.
Sometimes in fiction, there's a good twin and a bad twin. And in Being a DIK, that is indeed the case.
