These are just my thought on the update, ofc spoilers ahead.
First of all, even 3 months late, great Christmas update and of course great update in general.
Some general thoughts. Im not really sure if I like the dark side of the game, seeing Lana dead, Rio beaten up, are some raw images that are hard to digest. I just hope we dont get an Acting Lessons 2.0 at the ending, iykyk.
Music-wise, I love the new implemented songs that immerses the player much more to the story. Although, I dont know if its just me, but a lot of the new songs implemented remember me of Summers Gone, mostly the Grace Mesa ones. Minigames, still unnecessary when you complete them the first time, the only one I play several times is the math one, since its easy when you know how to do it, english minigame is absurd to do several times, in my case the science one is laggy and I do it just once to get the render, and in the party planning I just see which activities I want for that save and I dont do more. I dont really understand why the wet Tshirts is 4 and the fake BJ is 2, when the second one is much more interactive and entretaining.
Now something about the story. All the contract resolution is a bit meh, but I like Patricks redemption at the end of the episode. The Lana flashbacks are great, relating her death with Buddy and all, and Im guessing Jill will somehow be told of this, and hopefully something will happen between her and Quinn. Quinn, didnt appear shit on the episode, weird, but the talk in the cinema is great. Rio same, but we understand why, the thing is, how is she going to appear in the next update? We will have to wait, and hopefully its not another Mona situation. MGs paths are a bit weird.You can cheat on them just because. It could be considered that Jill cheats on you with Bianca, maybe anticipating a threesome. You cant kiss Cami on the threesome but Sage can? Doesnt make sense. Bianca knowingly wants you to cheat on her friends. And the others path is chaos. You cant fuck Sarah and Mel, but you can fuck Tara and Tiffany. DPC could have included a lewd scene with the Zoey Bj activity butfor some reason he didnt. You have to choose between Lily and Nicole, but Lily can end up sad after the lewd scene. JB doesnt let you get the BJ from Elena bcs of Heather is nonsense. Nikita/ghoul/cinderella interaction with MC is great, hopefully we will get more interactions in the future.Great approach on the Sally relationship, surely a lewd in the next update. I feel like the lewd scenes are "too difficult" to get. Before, normally 2 for each MG, some recurrent SG like the Hots or some teachers, just needing a path and no need from previous choices. Now, Jade scene is almost impossible to get first try, bcs who didnt show the video on Hells week? What I mentioned earlier with Elena, decide between Mel and Sarah, having to pick several previous decitions to get the Sage and Cami one. Idk, I feel like its much more work to get them. Fuck the fish, fuck the puzzle cube, why do I have to spend 18 to get presents that I dont get to see?
I love the cliffhangers, but repeating the Bella dinner is a bit weird, Quinn rats Buddy, Jocks get the letters, Magnar goat and a lot of small situations that have to be resolved, cheating on whichever MG, Zoey, Sally, Jade. Great times are comming maggots, but sadly they will come around july 2026, and being the endo of the episode, it will be long as fuck, near the 8k renders surely
