I enjoyed the episode overall but does anyone else feel like the "I love you" scenes were entirely underwhelming?

I like Zoey but i consider it kinda weird that she had the best "I love you" scene, despite tremolo not even saying it back. And the scene could still have been better and more emotional.

Sage's "i love you" scene was okayish or decent because it kinda fits their viba but mostly because she lookes so surpised/pretty, wasnt really awesome but at least not bad.

Unlike Maya's "i love you" scene which felt just out of place, shitty timing, shitty place, felt honestly more like a pity "i love you" than a heartfelt one but it guess it was still better than

Josy's scene (and i love josy!!!) which just sucked all around, the only good thing (imo) about the scene was "meeting" her mom but the "i love you" and everything around it felt so utterly shallow. It was like "i love you. - I love you too, lets take another picture!" ... just meeehhh, such a underwhelming scene lacking any emotions other than josy blushing. Josy is emotions overload and we get this ... hmpf.

The whole lifestyle blog as a means to find herself isnt helping either ...

But in general i think they were all too shallow and lacking emotions which is somewhat sad considering the long and great buildup.

I never liked the ex-gf trope in AVN. They either cheated, which is an automatic "you can fuck right off and then fuck off some more." or they're introduced so late in to a game that as the player you just prefer the other LI.

Zoey could have been a 12 outta 10 in looks (which she isn't), but she got there so late I just couldn't give a shit about her. So any time a "but i still got fee fees for you!!!" I check out and skip the dialog. lol

I don't mind "the ex" returning for drama purposes. My issue is with the timing. You JUST picked your LI. I have some save files with all the LI options that were evidently split. You break up with 4 LIs, hurting for example Josy and then.. not too long after you leave your current LI for the ex.

What will even more painful, is if during the first "Choice", you had to break up the throuple for Jill, Bella or Sage.
That means they (and especially Josy) will hear that MC had to do that same fucked up thing again.

If Josy was angry before, my guess is this will really push her over the edge.

I have no idea how you guys are so sure that its not the MC, he already wears a baggy shirt. Even if shirts don't match I can see this being him, after picking his jacket, leaving the scene last after everyone else already is preparing to drive behind the ambulance.

Josy is indeed a bit clingy. That's another reason I prefer Maya because she's perfectly fine without being with MC and appreciate him as a friend while Josy can't get over him even if you never entered throuple and she has to share that with Maya during their serious talk. I feel like if you'd spend more time with Josy she would be close to acting like Zoey in ep11.

that's a good point, though I was thinking more along the lines of texting her when you go to the hots mixer. You can chose to ask her if she shouldn't come hang out anyway, and she mentions that sometime sshe just likes the peace of being alone. Personally I need time by myself to decompress sometimes and having a clingy gf that was constantly at my side would annoy the piss out of me, so someone more like Maya suits me better.

I partially disagree about the Maya confession, I don't feel like it was motivated by pity. I felt like it was more to show her how much you already care and are ok with the chance that she might get sick herself. I did find it a bit disappointing because they just stand and look at each other, i think a little PDA would have been in order, like them kissing in that final render before the scene change.

The way the troupe works in the game is strange.

I only remember two scenes (long and similar to moments spent with the other MG) in the whole game, where the relationship between the 3 is shown as a real relationship.

(at the beginning when they're all 3 in the grass, and later when they're at the pool celebrating the MC's birthday).

What's more, instead of having 3-way moments, we have to choose to spend time with one or the other. And the game doesn't help us balance things out (e.g. by reminding us who the MC was with last time), it's up to the player to remember who he chose before if we want to balance things out.

This is clearly done on purpose, but why? I don't know if DPC wants to tell us from the start that it won't work (to avoid Acting Lessons-style disappointments), or if it's done to make the happy ending more memorable.

I figure there's no point in doing all this for nothing, so I'm banking on a way to make the troupe work.

Here you go guys. Every save, for every route, for Seasons 1, 2, and the current state of Season 3 (Episode 10 or 0.10.1). NO mods. Mini games turned ON. All scenes unlocked. All special renders found. All 2D Art purchased/unlocked. All upgrades such as Brawler Skills/Derek Cheats/Magnar Bonuses/Picture Frames and Wallet Quantity unlocked for all routes all the way up to Season 2; with the exception of DIK Hots and Sides route (Magnar Bonuses still remaining). Mansion Repair Completed for all routes. Aiming for similar completion with the new Mini-Games such as Fish Tank/New Cheats and Bonuses etc for Season 3. Rank "S" for current Party Planning Mini Game, for all routes. I used "Stevan" as MC's first name, "Pena" for MC's last name and "SexyMexican98" for my Swyper/Rooster tag. You can change those with the phone in game as well as Music Favorites/PetNames/Ringtones/Wallpapers with the exception of MC's last name, you'll have to play episode 9 again in order to change it as of now. Each folder contains saves for the start of each episode so don't get confused with the "Episode 11 start" saves, there is no Episode 11 yet, just "End of Episode 10" saves. All save files contain the following routes.

Sage path - not only all the other girls are unavailable to you, but even scenes with Sage become unavailable due to cheating points. Okay, if you're groping girls, then yes, but points for cheating for flirting, joking, or even talking to other girls. This is insanity, it is not surprising that many are unhappy. I guess the branches for Jill, Bella, Josy/Maya aren't any better.

DPC is good in many ways, but he is also terrible in many ways. It's good that at least the "others" branch continues to please. I should stick to it and forget about the Sage, Jill, Bella and Josie/Maya routes.

I think its especially annoying on the Sage path, i can somewhat understand it on the jm and jill path.

But i always got the impression that Sage enjoys it when Tremolo flirts and is admired/desired by other girls as long as he doesnt cheat or its his ex lol so it becomes kinda confusing where flirting turns into cheating in this avn.

I mean yeah fucking and making out is cheating, but for example putting your hands on sarah and mels butts during a picture as dik tremolo? Or picking sarah up for the christmas tree? I would have thought Sage doesnt mind that at all but apparently she does.

The player not being able to tell sage "i love you" when we did set up the cammy threesome is kinda strange too considering its Sage's desire to experiment and shes the one pushing it.

Yeah i get that he intended to show dedication and support and it was meant to be wholesome but still, the mood was heavy, they were surrounded by people, just tell her you will always be by her side and wait with the i love you for a more intimate and fitting setting.

Sage already has past trust issues with Sarah and Mel, so it actually isn’t that weird.

It was never balanced from the start. The game by default heavily favored it toward maya. Maya max rp point is somewhere beyond 70, and Josy is 60, there is at least a 10 point differ.
If you try to balance it you automatically get maya

ep 10 pick Josy,
easiest decisions in my life. God if everything would be this simple

just a thought: I don't think there's a split between vanilla sage and kink sage, I think the threesome with camila is a placeholder scene for who didn't get the solo scene, since locking us out of it for fucking jade is a scumbag thing to do, I think the solo scene is the real deal and not the other way around. And I'm afraid that we won't get a happy ending in this route

Updated my compressed Android port of Being a DIK S3 with Scrappy's multimod to v0.11.1. S1 & S2 port is also available below in two options, very compressed or less compression. Very compressed is smaller but the videos can be a bit pixelated as a result.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

S1 & S2 install instructions:

1. Download zip file
2. Use an app like RAR to unzip the file. Standard browsers have issues with large zip files
3. Install the apk file from the zip file
4. Run the game once to load into the menu and then close the game. This will allow the port to set up the required folder in your Documents folder
5. Move the archive.rpa file from the zip file to Documents/Eonor/e.beingadik.s1/game
6. Restart the game

S3 install instructions:

1. Download zip file
2. Use an app like RAR to unzip the file. Standard browsers have issues with large zip files

If you have previously played the first seasons and want to get straight into Season 3 but don't have the required file, I have included a link to a version of BeingADIKSeason2Transfer1366998845 with several different routes. You can add to Documents/Eonor/e.beingadik.s3.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the ports and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.

Yeah whatever the player does in this episode, the one of Josy and Maya who sleeps alone and didnt got a "i love you" will look very unhappy at the end of the episode

They all behave kinda unfortunate too, the MC telling only one of them that he loves her, the one who got the "i love you" telling the other one that he said it to her ... it just looks and feels bad no matter what you do.

Does anyone else feel like the game is balanced towards maya somewhat when you try to keep it balanced?

I prefer Josy and in my pt's when i get all the points and even take more Josy events (i usually do josy after pete's visit, maya movie tv night, josy ep11 again) i always get the maya scene. I had to create a pt where i kinda always favored josy to get the josy scene.
