I've always considered this to be a great game. But the Brawler mini game and the fighting system behind it, is incredibly frustrating and frankly a bit silly. Because a lot of time it lags and doesn't work as it should, and also if you're not that good at games like that, it completely conflicts with the MC everytime you lose, because he is supposed to start the game as a pretty good fighter. So when you have to fight against Chad and Dawes, and they easily beat the MC to a pulp, without him landing a single blow, it just makes a complete nonsense of his claims of being decent at Martial Arts.

Most of the time you can just avoid Brawler, but if you do that, it means those fights in the game are almost impossible to win (particularly if you're already struggling with an imperfect and overly complex fighting system).

In my opinion, the Dev needs to revamp the fighting system, to make sure it always works and isn't so complicated, or remove it altogether from the active parts of the game, where the player has no choice but to fight. Why would the MC go around telling everybody in the game that he can handle himself, when everytime he actually fights, he has no chance of winning? This completely defeats the immersion, in these parts of the game.

Go into dev console and fix whatever makes you weak. Either in the old or the new browler, just google the brawler commands for being a dik and have fun. Using dev console doesn't count as mod and makes your life easy if you are not a hardcore mini game player, if you only want to have fun doing paths and stories.

The new brawler commands gives you pretty much everything: (Credits to a post on redit)

I am curious in Sage's case since she is into both. For now I picked Tournament on Others + Sage and Music on rest.

I still think 1 or more Other routes should be ready for music as well. Philip says it's for the faculty and esteemed guests. You would think that at least Jade and maybe Nora belong to the faculty. The preps (or at least their family) might fall under the "esteemed guests" category.

All the speculation on the camera in the closet… has it been discussed before about the candy cane briefly near the dildos in an early scene? And the lollipop only briefly on the bookshelf above Maya’s desk? The candy is the culprit, clearly. And we still don’t fully know what happened during MC’s blackout drunk spell. I think the candy violated him and the Maya cleaned up the stick sickly sweet evidence. Clearly, this is just me spitballing here, but I think I’m really on to something…

I'm sort of back, only because I've finished the majority of the game, but I still want to organize my thoughts and notes for later. And a new tier list.

You guys have no idea how excited I got when I saw her at the party, before even clicking on her. She's perfect. And it feels good to be right Even though I was wrong on other stuff, but this was the most important one. Although the one other thing I fucking nailed was who Jonathan is.

There's so very little to base this on, but I'm going to throw this out there: the guy Jill is talking with to help start a campaign in Lana's honor, Jonathan? That's Lana's old boyfriend.

On their way to meet Jill's parents, Jill mentions that Lana bringing her boyfriend home was one of the things that started fights between her and Geoff. She brings it up because she's nervous about how MC will be received, and doesn't have another frame of reference.

Now we've seen Jill communicate with Jonathan twice, and learn he is associated with support groups, and can help Jill with her attempt to create a campaign.


It's not too much of a leap to believe that a reformed punk who might've contributed in some way to his girlfriend's death would want to help people process their own grief, as well as try and prevent similar tragedies. Her death is still shrouded in mystery, but there's hints of drug use, even a possible OD.

Jill doesn't seem the type of person to hold her sister's death against him, especially if he is truly remorseful and has changed for the better. They might not be close, but there's still a connection, hence not talking a lot but Jonathan being on the back of her mind.

As for why Jonathan never made his own campaign in Lana's honor, it wouldn't be very appropriate without the Royce family's approval, and I don't think he would get it from Geoff and Amelia. Jill mentions that "they" would try and stop her, I imagine this is why. They want nothing to do with him, and might even consider it an insult.

Again, there is so little to try and formulate a theory, but I wouldn't rule it out.

She has never been a 'random' background character to me. There were a few clues from the first sighting that she probably had a part to play in the story. Some of us have been obsessed and followed her since the very first sighting and discussed all the clues and connections numerous times. Things like deliberately turning her head to look away when MC enters the room.

I've had a path dedicated to her from Episode 9. So has Better Cock Spock, (but he's still away from the thread a little while longer).

Well, playing guitar is kinda an obvious choice for Jill and Bella i think. Jill playing there too (if you help her overcome her stagefright)

Or lets say... Guitar is the "chick" choice while tournament goes more the "dik" route i would say.

And regarding the tournament, its kind of obvious that Caleb will compete there too. Which is even more relevant if you faught him in episode 5.

Overall, playing guitar should be the prefered option though, playing guitar and music all around is MCs biggest passion, its the most fitting choice for the MC i think. And of course... tybalt will be there too, a good reason to show him whats what. Caleb? Who cares... boring steroid brute.

I wouldnt recommend to do that... changing variables via console can fuck up you savegames for future updates.

Instead... decrease difficulty (its really easy on normal)... oh yeah, and max out "speed" so you got way more time to react.

So now, let's go foward with my overall thoughts.
I'm happy that I was right about how Lana died and mostly about the culprits of the envelops (the nerds were my second guess).
About Lana: It's a fast and decent way to "insert" Jill on the overall plot more directly to have her be somewhat related to Quinn's drug business. Since one of Jill's biggest problems was how separated from the plot she was compared to the other girls. Now she is fully in the plot even if she got inserted kind of forcefully (no innuendo meant).

Also, Buddy, Mick and Vinny are dead. They are dead dude, if Quinn didn't kill them, I will. I don't care about route or consequences, they did mess up. They scarred my Rio. Those three are good as dead, as soon as that option appears, I'm gonna take it, fuck everything else.

And finally,THIS is what I think when I think about Last Boss. This is seriously last boss vibes...DPC cooked hard.

yes reason why I only posted commands for the brawler, and these are for the new brawler, the old ones are other commands. These new brawler commands, gives you enough time to press all keys to defend and attack, you don't need to be in a hurry. Also makes you strong So you don't lose fast. There is also a command to make your oponent's hp to 1. I didn't post it because I don't think it is that necessary.

If you need the commands for season 2, in case you are in difficulty to fight chad and dawe, here are the commands. It only works for season 2, eps 1 to 8.
