I think you're right but it's a bit odd. It doesn't feel like there is loads left to do in the story. Maya's story is resolved, we know how Jill's sister died, we are about to find about (in a year and a half) Bella's story in episode 12. Quinn is about to try and fuck up the drug dealers. Stephen is divorcing Jade.
Yes we have the 'revenge of the nerds' and the showdown with the jocks, but otherwise doesn't seem much left story wise. We can presume next episode is new years. Then we'll have valentines day. Spring break. Finals. I guess that get's us to episode 15 which is right round where is was forecasting. Last year he said he knew he wanted 14, and maybe up to 16. I think it's possible, or probable he'll do an episode which is the epilogue for each route.
We'll see. I would agree that the Maya plot felt pretty anticlimactic considering it carried large parts of the game so far and then just kinda...fizzled out. Maybe there will be more to it later after all.
Also some of the relationships with the main LIs could change a lot in the next Ep. The throuple falling apart, the revelation of Bella's secret and Jill getting more corrupted. Then there might be the fallout with Sage if the MC did something with Jade after all.
Not sure what will happen with a "perfect" Sage path, though. Like...there hasn't been a lot of reason for issues for 3 episodes now, apart from the small incident with Zoe and even that seems to be resolved in Ep. 11 already.
Most of the "Other" paths have enough potential issues to stay interesting.
And of course the big question is how all the conflicts will be resolved between the different fraternities, with Nick and so on. That will obviously be the big over-arching plot now.
