What connection do you see between Burke and the Restaurant?

I never understood how you came to the conclusion that Burke is linked to the Restaurant.

Burke gives scholarships in exchange for sexual favors, I agree that fits with the story. But why would he be linked to the Restaurant?

He's banging students in exchange for scholarships, why make them prostitutes on top of that? Even if we imagine Quinn sending him candidates for the scholarship vs. sex deal, that doesn't explain why he'd be tied to the Restaurant.

The Restaurant is shown to be a small business, given its small activity, it only brings in pocket money for the girls. So money doesn't strike me as a valid reason for Burke to get involved, given that the guy's already rich, so to take a big risk, it has to be worth it. A millionaire who goes into crime is in it to make more millions, the Restaurant doesn't make that much money.

The sexual motive doesn't hold up (he's banging students on scholarships, no need to prostitute them), and neither does the money motive. Worse, it involves the HOTs, of which his daughter is a member.

I really don't understand how you link Burke to the Restaurant.

What should NOT happen is take characters like Tara, Cinderella, Sally etc, and build a full on path with them from scratch. THAT would be a bad decision.
I could see it as more of a linear, kinetic VN kind of thing during the epilogue if MC saved himself up and didn't sleep around in the first two seasons. I feel like Cindi and Sally have the most going for them despite not having that much interaction/development from a relationship standpoint. For Cindi it's mainly due to the halloween closet room interaction, I'm not sure why DPC would add her there other than to tease or set something up for the future. So while there likely wouldn't be a full development like with the MG or the OG SG's, it's possible that there will be a late stage kinetic story development instead. As for Sally, I feel like it could develop into a relationship too since they're likely to be paired up in the lab more often which gives more chances for something to happen. Or it could just be a red herring setup by Magnar, we'll never know.

Just my perspective anyway. I know there's another VN that did something similar, with a character that was introduced a bit late into the game but he still made it work anyway, towards the end. I wouldn't be surprised if DPC would do the same even if it would feel a bit rushed.

Restaurant wasn't about money for Stephen, it was probably about power and sex.

I don't even know who that is :KEK:
just kidding, but still
The blonde, arrogant party girl on the second floor during the first phase of the Panty Party. If you interact with her and go back and forth she'll try to kiss MC under the "Mistletoe"

Edit: didn't see the small text until now. Fuck... XD

But that's the point, episode 12 should be (at least If he does the same thing he did in AL) the last episode to make important choices. And what better way to head into a supposedly more linear final season than getting to choose your relationship (for the SGs) at the end of the season finale. It's not like we will have to build those relationships from zero, all of the "Premium SGs" are pretty well developed as far as relationships go.

What should NOT happen is take characters like Tara, Cinderella, Sally etc, and build a full on path with them from scratch. THAT would be a bad decision.
Which side girl are you choosing? The choice has been made in regards to Nicole and Lily, some might argue it's already been made in regards to Jade, that I think leaves Riona and Quinn.

There might be a choice there... But I can see it being forced depending on if you went to the arcade or not.

In ep 5 we se Mona rushing out saying "No way... I can't!" with Camila and Burke close behind her.
Also the "coincidences" between his talk with Maya in ep 9 and his call in episode 10 with shortly thereafter Quinn rushing out.

They're all circumstantial for now, but pretty sure he's connected.

I'd preffer if he would just make 2 additional "ending" EPs after the story wraps up
This may be the case. I always found it telling that he said he knows he needs 14 but could see it needing 14-16.if you know it needs 14 where the extra two come from?

I think he's potentially giving himself wiggle room, I mean if he goes AL route and the endings are indeed on rails, he could slit the ending episodes to release faster

For example, let's say everything major gets tied up in 12 ready to go into a season 4 on rails ending. Ideally he knows he can do it in two episodes hence the 14 estimate, but if he's taking his sweet time in making 14, he could simply say right that's a good time to stop that, release it and move on

The incident with Mona where Quinn mentioned Burke, Burke getting nervous and changing his attitude when Maya told him about the free tuition rumor related to the HOTs and Quinn angrily storming out of his office in EP10 with Sarah, Melanie and Camila confirming in EP11 that the Restaurant is no longer active.

If he has no links with the Restaurant how do you interpret those scenes ?

I'm thinking more of choosing to commit, like we did with the Main Girls. Even if you are rolling with Lily you can still hook up with Tara, Tiff and Becky. In my mind, the SG we choose would also lock those scenes like the MGs do.

If it happened during the epilogue then sure, I could give it a pass. What I really wish DPC won't do is split the screen time even further between the SGs before the end.

The Others branch is way too bloated as it is, adding an actual romantic path this late in the story would require some extra time dedicated to them instead of the ones we already have.

I'm sure this topic has been discussed countless times but anyway I'm curious to know who is everyones favourite main girl and side girl and a bit around why that is , so il kick it off

So for main girl I'm team sage all the way ride or die baby haha , but there's just something about her that draws me to her character plus I find her and the MC work well together and it might help that I genuinely have a soft spot for redheads but that's not the point haha

So for side girl for me it's Nicole so il start with the obvious everyone loves a milf but again there's something about her character that draws me in plus part of me would like to see a side story where they can date and the MC meets her kid and takes on the stepdad role haha would be interesting to see

Now with this being said I like all of the female characters I think there is something about each of them that appeals to everyone in different ways so kudos to the way the characters have been done ... But the only one I'm not sold on and if her path is worth doing let me know and this is not a disliking to her , as a general character I like her but the one I'm not sold on is Jill and it's nothing against her I just find her too innocent for the MC or potentially for the way I play the MC

But like I said I'm curious to see what everyone thinks
