Do we know why the nerds are icing out Sally? I've been operating under the assumption that she's the one that has been boosting these secrets from the DIKs because she is the only one of the the nerds that attends parties and functions put on by the DIKs and HOTs; at least to my knowledge. Seems weird to oust your inside man, as it were.
They are basically forcing her to party all of the time already and she is a tri-beta so she needs to keep her grades up there. Which is kind hard when you are having to play spy. Also, it can be even worse than this, but I won't go there yet.
Plus, she can be an easy scapegoat if things go south with the university.

Canadian here.

I don't have a picture of the ski trip event, but I remember laughing about how everyone was wearing downhill skis, and they're going cross-country skiing.

Your arms would be destroyed before you could even get up a hill. And then you wouldn't get up the hill and just fall back down. Hitting a ski trail is pretty standard and not that hard, even going downhill, unless it's steep. And I don't recall anyone teaching MC to snowplow or making a wedge to slow down.

Well she isn't in the tri-betas because that is a fraternity, and Sally is decidedly not a member of the brotherhood.

But grades could be a reason to start to disassociate with her, and forcing her to party as a spy could also be a good reason for the grade slippage. I just didn't know if anything had been concretely said regarding the matter that I missed.

With regard for Sally's grades though, the impression I've had, and that seemingly was confirmed during her study session with FuckFace, is that she wasn't as "smart" as what would be the normal association with the stereotypical nerd faction. She certainly wants to be seen in that regard, but she either isn't straight A smart, or she has gotten complacent with her studies due to her association with the tri-betas. The tri-betas intelligence is also called into question though between Magnar's "study guides," the recent revelation of their subterfuge, and in a line from Sally that she doesn't have access to their papers (or something along those lines). Kind of points to them doing a lot of cheating.

It depends on how many DIKs you can get above 50%. I did the math on your score from the Halloween party (subtracted 1500 from activities score, added up the base scores, added .7 multiplier for 7 DIKs and then multiplied which comes out to 133,045) and your score with DIK Party (133,648) came out just better for your situation, since Rusty was below 50% happiness. BUT it is possible to get 8 Diks above 50 happiness which puts Multiplier Madness ahead, but you have to be a little lucky with the roll on the initial DIK happiness, while also having a good roll for your extra items as well.

At the beginning of the Halloween Party, I believe there are 4 DIKs with 50% happiness, one with 42%, two with 40%, and one with 36%. Since you fulfilled 3 needs or more for everyone, all the DIKs with 40% happiness or more would automatically be at 50% or more by the end of the Halloween Party. But with your layout, you would need Jacob, Leon, or Derek to have the 36% because they are the ones with 4 needs fulfilled which gives 24% extra happiness that would boost them above 50%.

I don't think the fulfilled needs score for the DIKs would change whether you get one DIK to 74% or you get all DIKS above 50%. At the end of the day the total happiness is still the same so the points you get from it would be the same. So your scores would be 8945, 1400, 2400, and 3000, with a multiplier of 8.55x, which comes out to 134,620 (or 134,619 depending on if DPC rounds or floors).

It is very close, negligibly close, but regardless Multiplier Madness and DIK party are the two best perks.
Yeah, your score math seems similar to what I got when comparing DIK Party and Multiplier Madness for Halloween, about a 500 points different.

The beginning happiness for each DIK is actually randomly picked between 35-45% at the start of Episode 9, but that's before any activity or other adjustments.

As for the Fulfilled Needs score, each fulfilled need gets 4*(-0.008*[Happiness]^2+1.8*[Happiness]) points, rounded. This means there's slight diminishing returns. At 50% happiness you get 280 points per need, at 60% you get 317, and at 70% you get 347 points. So it's very slightly better to have two DIKs at 60% compared to one at 50% and the other at 70%.

On a funny note, trying to figure out the Fulfilled Needs score is what drove me to look at the detailed calculations for all this in the first place. I noticed it wasn't linear, and then I just had to know what it actually was. :ROFLMAO:

it could be the reverse. Sally might have no idea about what the nerds are planning. And since she seems to be going to the DIK parties, maybe they think she won't be a part of what they're doing? That maybe she might tell the DIKs about their plans?

You would expect DPC to know since he's Swedish and has probably skiid before.

I'm planning a DIK affinity Throuple. What's the best path with major choices to ensure I don't get rejected at the ruined library?

Yeah I realized after posting that that it changes more significantly than I thought. But there is always 4 with 50%. Basically you need everyone except Jacob, Derek, and Leon above 40% and you're good.

Nice, so Multiplier Madness would be even better if you can get everyone above 50%.

yup. that helped greatly with the mini game.
though i wished we had bios to tell us who those girls are
Doing so many paths, I didn't want to sit and think each time so I made that (But I did find after doing it a few times, I didn't need to use it).

I assume you're talking about Clara, Erin, Felicia & Leanne (I think all the others are in the Bios). Clara, Erin and Felicia have been coming to the DIKs parties for a while (you can see them all in the Halloween Party). Clara is also Jacob's regular FWB. Leanne appears to be a new favorite of some folks here (she does have nice eyes).

I wonder what DPC's level is for putting people into the Bios?

We have Patrick but no Helen. Stanley and Pete even make it in, but girls you can make out with (Felicia, Charlotte, Erin, Mia, Leanne) are not. Even Cindy/Yoga Girl who clearly has something developing isn't. I would have thought maybe a TG pic with a "who is that girl with the bluest eyes" comment.

Maybe he's just not putting much effort into the Bios anymore.

Oh, if it's in the Bio, you can just ignore it, (I changed the settings after that part, so they will stay there), it won't have any affect on the "I love you" scene, you can still get it. I promise you. (y)
It worked now thanks. Do you have a save for Riona where we went to the date with her and had sex with her in BBQ party ( i think we have sex with her in there) and at the same time we accepted to help Quinn? Because on mine i didnt knew we need to help Quinn to have near the end of episode 11 something to message Riona.

In Cindy's case at least I bet he left her out for now to keep Cindy simping discussion flowing until 12 :Kappa:

That's semantics. She is basically part of their fraternity, much like Karen, but I think you got what I was meaning.
And I don't doubt that Sally is smart, what I think is happening is that she is getting too stressed out and this is also impacting her studies. Sally has anxiety problems much like Karen, but the meds she was getting from Quinn were also used for treating depression and she was looking into buying more of them, so who knows whats going on in her mind.

The nerds not sharing their papers with her is just another way of coercing her into helping them. Also, Magnar's grades are probably at the very top of the university, and as much as I want to diss the guy, he IS very smart. He himself said it to MC that one don't maintain the grades while partying. And if he was the mastermind behind the envelopes and Cathy's cluck and not just someone using him, this would also show that he is cunning and not just book smarts.
