since nothing depended on the MC in Riona's case, it is not so painful.
Unlike the ending of Josie and Maya's route in ep11, where DPC forces the player to be a complete asshole to one of them. Obviously i didn't go to Bella's party to avoid that stupid drama. The MC was smart enough not to choose one over other, In the fourth episode, but not in ep11.
I understand that writing a great script is a lot of work, especially with so many variables and routes. It's important to know when enough is enough. I just wish the quality of the script was a little better. I'm all for sacrificing mini-games and other useless nonsense in favor of a better script. Of course, the script is already pretty good, but it could have been even better.
I have not yet play the jm path but I think dpc did this so that if the throuple breaks up we have a clear path which girl we would take between Josy and Maya. But at the same time I understand that what dpc did is a little bit messed up
I'm not sure for me. What happened with Riona really looks like a wake-up call for her and she really feels remorse at the panty party. On a DIK Others run, I would definitely go for Riona, because fuck Quinn. On a neutral others run however, I think I would forgive Quinn and stay on her side if she continues paying back for the bad stuff she did.
Well I understand were you're coming from and I would have stayed as well if she continue her redemption arc. But at the same time there is a part of me that feels is a little late for her to redeem herself. If Riona didn't get hurt I think she will just continue the way things are.
I just noticed something, I don't know if it's a bug or it is wanted, but the variable ep7_like_girl is not imported with the others into Season 3. That refers to MC choice for the favourite girl after Quinn asks you (if you choose restaurant), I have not checked but I will (Episode 7). That's a pity because it could have been fun to use it again in the plot, and he imported almost everything else from what I can see. A wrong choice in my opinion. I wish there was for my dedicated paths with Sarah, Camila, Mel.
The script is in the file mp_transfer_saves.rpyc
I also decided to modify some scripts so I've no longer to deal with English/Math/Science tests, brawler opponents and a few other things. Fixed and saved my future time while dealing with the (too) many saves I've got. They really became a burden and distract too much from story immersion.
It sounds like you're arguing semantics the way you leave Bella out of it. One might also argue that since MC hasn't actually married anyone or even gotten engaged, none of the relationships are official.
I myself measure seriousness by emotional attachment. Having legal documents and telling your friends and family are a long way behind in importance to how you feel about each other and how you spend your time together.
The five main girls Bella, Jill, Sage, Josy and Maya have this edge on all Others: In episode 8 MC will on his own decide that it's wrong to go around fucking other people and he should either fully commit to the relationship or stop leading them on. With the Others he feels no guilt at all. In season 3 the Others do get more serious, but not to the point of the episode 8 choice.
To compare Bella who was left out and Lily who was added: MC is emotionally more committed to Bella on her path than to Lily on the Others path. (This is objectively true MiltonPowers.) This may of course change later on and I certainly hope that the Others relationships get more serious than the MG paths were at episode 8. It is highly unlikely that the Others will ever be neck to neck with the MGs in any episode, but their endings may very well be on an equal footing.
So main girls have more serious relationships than Others, but how serious are they within their respective leagues?
"And then there is Zoey. The ex who only has content in flashbacks, but is obviously more attached to MC than anyone else. If any girl is secretly the sixth Main Girl it's Zoey. But it may also be that Zoey is a unique character in the game mechanics. Not a main girl or an Others girl, but the dark horse that can steal MC from anyone and has an ending on all paths."
Well I understand were you're coming from and I would have stayed as well if she continue her redemption arc. But at the same time there is a part of me that feels is a little late for her to redeem herself. If Riona didn't get hurt I think she will just continue the way things are.
Imo it's almost never too late for a redemption. If Riona was killed because of Quinn however, then I would never forgive her.
I would also have no problem forgiving Beth for what she did to the DIKs and worsening it for Cathy... Then again, that's simply because she's a redhead
Bro, when I saw that the 11th episode was out, I felt alive for the first time in a long time. Just kidding, of course (well...), but I was insanely happy. It felt like I had been waiting for a new season of my favorite show. Although, I played BaDIK for the first time in July last year, so I haven't been waiting as long as you guys.
That makes a huge difference I think how long ago you played it. I prefer to play at least 1 season in one go. I played season 1 and 2 on steam and that experience was amazing.
I still loved 11 but I think that experience would be better if I played the complete season on steam.
I like your thinking though. If a new season of BaDIK was released every year, with one episode per week that would be great.
i had an idea to read all comments about 11th after it's release, so i read 100 pages and quit this case, coz thread gained +900 pages for 2 weeks(16300 7 march -> 17100~23 march). so it began to become endless race. but now its only ~150 for a week
Does anyone have idea how my game keeps closing for no reason ? When starting off after episode 10 (just when the little flashback starts) my game keep closing. Tried reloading before it on an older save. get a few scenes in and again closes. when restarting from importing save from season 2 again closes the game after a few scenes. Do other people also experiences this ? before in version 0.10 or older never experiences this before only suddenly with the new version it happens.
Dude I won't stop you on simping to whoever you are simping even if that is a different species. But don't turn into another Darkwen and having a catchphrase about your L.I.

That's the thing were I disagree with you, I can't completely forgive Beth and the others. Cathy is one of the nicest professor in school yet what they did to her is so messed up. Just to take revenge on the diks they've posted the picture of Cathy all over the campus. Which push Cathy over the edge and resign. I can sympathize to Beth and co. to what happen to them but I still can't totally forgive what they did to Cathy

We only know a bit of the personalities of 5 teachers on campus though:
Jade and Stephen (both bitches)
Isabella (the middle ground)
Philip and Cathy (very nice)
Other than that, like I said: The only reason I would forgive Beth (and also the other redhead from the flashback, don't remember her name) is that I'm a simp for redheads as long as nobody is killed.

the relationship is more often unsuccessful than successful, but the point is that the author made the main character an unwitting accomplice and one of the reasons for this drama. They are in discord, good, but don't make the main character a villain for the sake of cheap drama.
Josy goes wah if:
MC is in a relationship with her.
MC is in a relationship with Maya and Josy.
MC is in a relationship with anyone else.
MC isn't in a relationship/goes Others.
Josey's existential crisis has no influence from player agency or the narrative. Josy will always go wah. It comes out of nowhere in Episode 11.
