Your affinity does and if you did it with Jade does, the affinity check is whether you get the shock/smiling and jade blocks you from having the ILY scene

Correct, you get both the "talking" version of the time-skip and the handholding render if you did not accept the blowjob at the movies. Also, if you are on the experimental route, got the bj and have DIK affinity, Sage won't have the same reaction if you tell her you see a future together.
