And a more annoying character, which is hard since we're talking about Jill... Damn, the few scenes Lana had was enough to make me loath her.
I thought it was also disappointing that Jill accepts it way too easily if you say she should wear skater clothes, especially since earlier she said she wouldn't wear such clothing because it isn't her style.

How do I stay on the Jill route? I've played several times and nothing in the shower, I touched her breasts, I celebrated my birthday with her at a picnic, at tennis with Bella, I broke her teeth, do I have to look at her or not see her when she exercises and before, on the last day of Hell Week, I hit Tybalt, how do I get him to invite me to sushi and help him at the recital, where am I wrong that I don't get the Jill route, just a rejection and then the option of meeting Sage and nothing from Jill

Are you a DIK? Did you choose to fight for her?

Like Spoc mentioned it's likely an affinity issue. To ensure a successful rerun, i refer you to the guides listed on the first page of this thread.

How long was the relationship with Zoey? Kind of like Maya and Josy is my guess, maybe shorter. Probably the year before the start of the game once they had turned 18. The MC becomes 19 somewhere in september I think and then Zoey and him starts a sexual relationship until she leaves which is at least a few months before the start of the game. I haven't checked so I might be wrong with this but if that is true then their FWB relationship wasn't that long.
They definitely start being FWB before they turned 18. Well Zoey may have been 18 but MC wasn't even 18 when she left since, like you said, his bday is probably in September. We don't know when they became FWB but it seemed longer than a couple of months.

I think the relationship with Zoey was a bit more than 6 months which is how long the mc has known Josy for. He met Zoey at school and in the pictures of them at school he must have been about 14 and they hung out and probably started having sex a few years later and to be fair, she hadn't been gone that long, probably about 8-10 months. So the mc couldn't have really been that devastated as he was pining for Josy a few months later.
When Zoey leaves, MC says "you can't wait until next summer?" implying it's the summer before his senior year. She failed trig and would have had to retake that class in the fall semester. Also her notebook said he could join her in a year or less. That means she was supposed to be gone for almost a year before MC met Josy. If Zoey left in August then MC had a minimum of 9 to 10 months before he started crushing on Josy. So he was devastated for maybe 6 months before that day he rode around on his bike and changed his phone. Then a few months later he met Josy. ;)

I agree on importans of story+moment time, but I'm not agree that it was NOW OR NEVER. cmon bro there a route where you not with her but she try fight for you, and here you have legit reason to not go with her and thats end of a story? I don't buy it
I think the way Jill's character is written would hint towards her not making such a rash decision.

You've already had a successful date, and if you played it right, groped her and kissed her twice. Bella likes you by that point, which is a huge plus for Jill.

Plus as soon as you tell her you had to cancel to care for a sick friend, she is likely to be all the more interested in you.

The on/off switch with the relationship definitely seems a problem of story telling or pacing, which is pretty unusual for the game.
She doesn't agree to go along with Tybalt's blackmail out of any romantic feelings for the MC, she does it to protect him which is why she does it on or off her path. That's just who she is as a person, someone who helps others in need.

Up until this point it's only been one date and that's not a big emotional commitment on either party so the picnic is a pivotal moment in the development of the relationship because it further builds and reinforces any bonds between them. Having those moments with the MC on the date is what gives Jill what she needs to go behind Tybalt's back and keep stealing away moments with MC until the whole thing is done. Without the date, Jill has no encouragement to do that and those moments don't happen.

Furthermore, the MC is the one that turns Jill down when it comes to the picnic and not the other way around. It's not on Jill to fight for more after this, it's on the MC. Unfortunately DPC doesn't give us the opportunity to makeup for refusing the picnic so there's nothing we can do to try and maintain the relationship to get it back on the same path as where the picnic would lead us.

This leaves Jill in the position where she does what she feels is the best course of action, to abide by the conditions Tybalt has set until it has run its course; which is something that fits with where her character's development is at in the game up until this point. And seeing as Jill never received the encouragement she needed to seek the MC out throughout all of it and the MC doesn't reach out to Jill to makeup for refusing the date, there is no development in their relationship and it starts to fade.

Now I'm not sure I can make the case for this any better, so if you're still in disagreement then you'll just have to take it up with DPC. I'm sure he'll greatly appreciate any feedback on the matter you have. :)

Is it really that legit? The MC is going to visit his fuck buddy and take care of her like he is a mother. She is not dying and will survive without him. It is not a moment of taking care of a friend, it is a moment of love.

The reason I believed that is because DPC actually depicts the start of their relationship when he explains it to Bella.
