Is there some kind of hyper-super guide to this torture? I've really tried so many paths that even I've forgotten where I am. Yes, the one thing missing is the solo scene with Sage in episode 11, that's all I know, but that doesn't make it 100%.

As known, Season 4 will be the final season. However, Season 4 will most likely be different than earlier seasons. It's hard to say how many episodes remain, as I haven't decided how I will release the endings yet. I have some ambitious plans for all that, but it's something that will have to grow as the final season is under development. For that reason, I can't say a final count of episodes, like 13, 14, 15... As you probably can tell from episode 11, bigger and bigger questions are getting answers, and fewer new questions are being asked. That's the hallmark of bringing it all home and tying the knot on the stories. It makes me sad to say we're nearing the end of the game, but we are. So, let's savor it together and take it one episode at a time.

I don't agree with that at all. When writing this, I'm the top 29th Patreon creator on the entire platform, all categories – that's the highest I've ever been. And I just reached an all-time high in patron count, too - just 112 patrons shy of 20,000 patrons. I'm not seeing any decline in interest or a loss of faith – I'd say it's the opposite. Even though it's taken 15 months to release one episode, I've felt immense support from my patrons, with very few complaints throughout the development cycle.

I get that it's a long time to wait, but the content you get with each release matches the waiting time. Episode 11 was comparable in size to the entirety of Season 1. In terms of content, it was the biggest release for me and probably in the history of AVN.
The longer development time per episode is the result of the game reaching its end stages, and the story is branching out even more. With every episode, I need to put extra work and consideration into all the branches that I create. And even after I do that, you'll notice that not every character gets the spotlight. That's the beauty and the curse of the branching.
I won't release something I'm not happy with, and I've always been transparent about the development process. The rest of the game will take a long time to develop. Players should expect this; I don't hide that fact.
My workflow is as optimized as it gets by now, but I'm constantly looking for ways to improve the speed of everything I do. Ultimately, there's no getting around the fact that manual work is a bottleneck.
What an arrogant answer.
Player: "Why is an AVN taking longer to develop than a AAA game?
DPC: "I have over 20 000 Patreons"
Player: "It's been 3 years since the last episode and 20 years in overall development. My grandchildren are graduating college next year."
DPC: "No one has complained so far"
Player: "That's because you've banned them all."

100% is gonna be next to impossible without mods or changing variables around in some way.
There are many scenes with slight differences depending on things like affinity or status or if you chose to say one thing 3 episodes ago or if you talked to person Y before person X during a free-roam etc etc.

Yeah, at the end of the day BaDIK is still a porn game full of gratuitous scenes with minimal buildup and a sequence of standard animations to tap through, which unfortunately don't add much to the story. It's one of the few areas DPC could improve but his enthusiasm doesn't shine through in most lewd scenes and sadly he's afraid to outsource more tasks which he lacks motivation or skill for.
I'm not sure what you mean by this because Zoey hasn't changed at all. Look at episode 3, when she was introduced, and you'll see that it's the same model - although with worse lighting and render quality.
Nice that DPC put an early end to this debate. It's been hard to convince doubters that it's just his improved 3D graphics skills that makes the characters seem different compared to earlier scenes. It's also due to different outfits. Some fit tighter around the body, some have larger gaps, some designs bring out certain features and hide others. Same with Zoey. Her panty party lingerie design enhances her wide hips even further and due to the top's loose fit in some places, her bust seems larger than it actually is.

That value is which tracks all text blocks you've seen. I wouldn't really stress over it, because it's completely meaningless.

If it really triggers your OCD beyond help then the easiest way to deal with it would be just edit the game's script:

--Again, it would be easy for a big player like DPC to outsource the necessary skill set for tasks he's not able to do. Just pay an artist to make the ski models, no need to search through the internet for the models or settle for low quality scraps.

--Giving the player too much information outside the MC's knowledge in interactive story games is an aspect I'd like the devs to avoid when possible. It tends to skew the player's decision making too much. I'd prefer to be on the same wavelength with my character when making choices, but I've already accepted that this is DPC's writing style and I try to immerse myself accordingly.
Yeah with all that money coming in, and artists being pretty cheap, it would be pretty easy to commission some assets.

And I wholeheartedly agree on the storytelling.

You see it too often nowadays in mainstream entertainment, where so much is shared via some means of exposition, that there is zero suspense.

I don't understand with what arrogance they ask dpc if the next chapter will have to wait more than a year and if he will do anything to avoid it, when it is obvious his efforts to take at least 2 years this time. :cautious: :cautious:
