Yes. You can choose to not say it. If you don't, these are some of the important changes:

- You can decide to stay at the party or go to Bella
- You can decide to participate yourself at the dildo competition instead of forced Derek
- You can choose if you want to sleep with Maya or Josy if you DO go to Bella during the party

Also if you don't say it, the heart-to-heart conversation between Maya and Josy goes slightly different.

Update: Went back and replayed things (had to go all the way back to Calm Before the Storm) but I got this to play out as you describe. I also got the date with Josy to play, which I had not seen before, did not say "I love you" and the dialog between Josy and Maya at the end seemed slightly more optimistic. Did get to choose who he slept with, which still felt odd to me... I mean as strong as their feelings have gotten I would have thought he'd at least kissed them both good night. But anyway, thanks again for the advice.

I don't recall having a choice about who to sleep with on the couch, when I played that part it just went with Maya. But apparently that may be keyed to whether the MC tells Maya he loves her or not.

Honestly, breaking that throuple up disappoints me. Part of what made the them different, unique, interesting was that it was a threesome path. Take that away and they lose some of what makes choosing them interesting over say Sage or Jill. It almost feels like DPC is determined to shat all over the Maya Jose thing.

At this rate, Sage is seeming more and more a vastly better choice for a happy play thru, plus she's now apparently into threesomes so... just date her and wait to see whichever HOT she brings home next for you to bang.

Its all getting increasingly stupid IMHO.

You can say "I love you" to either Josy or Maya, depending on who you went on a date with. That person is determined by who you spend the most time with whenever you got the choice (in a tie it would look at the highest RP).
If you don't say "I love you", or if they don't say it back, you can choose yourself who you want to sleep with at Bella's. Otherwise it's indeed dependent on who you said the L-word to.

Also, it might be that Camila is the last possible threesome with Sage if you accept it, considering it seems she has her doubts about MC's reaction afterwards.

And everything else that the game seems to be about is secretly just filler, contrived drama, and excuses to get the Chosen Five together.
