I'd have to double check both variations of when Jill calls Bella, when we talk to Jill and Bianca when they first arrive, and when Bella arrives to see what Jill says. I want to say there's something that at least hints at why she chose the bee costume, but I've been wrong before.

I actually know why. After MC ignored/dumped Jill, she put on a sexy bee costume to get Rusty's attention and was with him all night. Why do we only see Rusty on Jill's walk of shame? Because in all the other versions, she was having fun with him. Jill's rebound guy edition.

You're missing something really obvious: in all other paths, Rusty goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night, then goes back to bed and sleeps in. But on Jill's path, he slips on her banana costume after MC throws it outside his room and bonks his head, so he wakes up early enough for the Walk of Shame because he couldn't get a good sleep
