I think you had to have been romancing both, and then have Jill catch you in the morning banging Bella.

Meaning you're not a DIK, you chose to fight for her, got the sushi date, etc. Basically at Crossroads, if you're able to choose Jill and she doesn't reject you, that means you meet the requirements for her to kiss you on the bench after choosing Bella instead.
