Well it's either Rusty slipped on a banana costume, or lazy writing, and we all know DPC doesn't do that
I think he lifted it from XCom. Because when you have a 80+% success rate, and need to make that kill shot, the game decides it is going to fuck you, EVERY TIME.
I think you had to have been romancing both, and then have Jill catch you in the morning banging Bella.
You need to successfully romance Jill as well. Meaning you're not a DIK, you chose to fight for her, got the sushi date, etc. Basically at Crossroads, if you're able to choose Jill and she doesn't reject you, that means you meet the requirements for her to kiss you on the bench after choosing Bella instead.
Jill will always catch MC and Bella no matter what, Jill's own path has no bearing on that event.
I had both Jill and Isabella as options to choose at the end of episode 8. I chose Bella, but during the bench scene the kiss option doesn't appear. She just cries and says she thought I was perfect and the flashback ends.
Was there an option about following your heart vs couldn't choose both of you? The second one leads to the kiss.
At the end of Episode 8, you will have to make a choice: Bella, Josy (and Maya), or Others (Quinn). If you're already on Josy's path then you can't choose Others, but even before that you would never be on Quinn's path by Episode 6.
Quinn is not a main path, she is on the "Others" strand. Bella and Josy have their own paths and are separate. You also can't get Josy without also getting Maya, and both require a chick or neutral affinity.
Final follow-up, do you know what variables I would need to modify to get Jill to show up as an option during the choice in episode 8? I tried messing with a few but they didn't work. I want to just edit my Bella path save rather then replaying the entire game and dating both of them. Sadly the only save where I have both as options is one I would rather not use due to other choices.
So if i choose Josy or Bella i won't be getting anymore Quinn? Also if i choose a certain girl path what happens to the rest?
I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you know exactly what you're doing. I know that "ep8_jill_state" is what determines if you got the sushi date, and by that point you're gold by setting it to 1. But there could be other variables that get called upon in the future that you would be missing. So again, just a warning.
You can be on Bella's path but still get Quinn (Neutral/DIK), but you cant jump on Quinn's path if you're already on Josy's, and you cant jump on Others at all either. To get on Quinn's path, you cannot be dating MJ in Episode 6, otherwise you cant help her after she gets mugged.
Yes. You can fool around with all three as much as you want leading up to the choice but eventually the game forces you to pick one of whatever girls you have been dealing with (Bella, Jill, Sage, and Josy/Maya) or staying "single" which will end all sexual relations with those girls, but allowing you to continue fooling around the the other girls (Quinn, Riona, Lily, etc)
I already tried changing jill state to 1 and it didnt change anything, so its gotta be something else as well
