I mean it's true. Think about it:

Before Ep 9: Josy's story is... Crushing on MC. Being the #3 in a throuple. Her hobbies are going to parties and hanging out with friends. Story-arc? Being in a throuple. Occasionally argues with Maya.

Ep 9: Her story is: Crushing on MC. Gets called out for being basic

Ep 10 ~ 11. Her story is: Crushing on MC. Realizing she's actually kind of basic and is sad about it, so she tries to rediscover herself... by shopping and posting pictures of herself on social media? Basic!

The entire JM path storyline is really just focused on Maya's drama when it comes down to it. Josy even admits as much to Maya in ch11. Josy's contribution to things so far can be summarized by being the #3 in a throuple and by being a gossip that can't keep secrets... and by having a crush on MC.

See? Basic! She still hasn't cured her basicbitchitis. While every other main girl has some kind of personal storyline, hers is... being basic.

The whole game is about Maya's stupid problems. While it your right to like or dislike a girl and her story I think you got the story part wrong. The Josy in ep11 is the same Josy as in the whole game or at least since ep2 it always been well know she got insecurities so her wanting to better herself shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. And yeah Josy did say she feels like she takes a back seat to Maya in terms of what they want, but story wise she doesn't

For me Josy got a great story but that me

keep in mind Sage and Josy are the same in a lot of ways (and don't says Josy's takes place before the game that is a none point :LOL::LOL:)

Real talk, Josy's story is self-discovery is not bad (regardless of if it was planned or not). She's a young woman in her first year of college and is part of an unfortunate issue with her girlfriend (and boyfriend), just being buffeted from one problem to another with no attention for herself.

A good writer can make something like that work, and say what you will about DPC, but his character work is usually his strong suit.

Skipping obvious jokes about Dr. Pink's unparalleled storytelling skills we just fail to comprehend and appreciate, i'm not sure if Josy is actually trying to beat the basic bitch allegations at this point, as opposed to simply embracing them after some soul searching. Like, her blog is explicitly "This is me being basic 24/7, for all other folks who might be like this to know they're not alone".
