So, I tried to continue the game today after the crossroad choice going with the "All Paths" choice from the mod but it sadly doesn't work out.
I'm halfway through the Halloween party and the different paths just clash with each other in a way that takes all the fun out of it. (And in addition there are the "Cheating" points when having fun with side girls which probably is going to suck in the bad kinda way in the end as well.) And to expect from a mod to change up dialog and scenes so that everything fits again is probably too much to ask. And when the endings come it would probably crumble again.
The only hope I have that the game dev decides, against all odds, to add an all (main) girls path in the end. I mean the setup would be there with the main girls being close or getting closer with each other, being partially bi and experimenting in FFM threesomes. All it takes would be a simple decision.
But until then I'll have to wait and see, which is a bummer. Because the game has such a high quality in renders, writing, scene setup, it's really immersive and interactive and gets you involved with the story and the characters with that one important downside, that we don't get the option to live it out the way we want to (with we I mean me and everyone else who would love to see an harem-style route as an option). And now I'm just going to be sad...

Game is not a harem and never was. Being a DIK is a dating simulator, more grounded to reality, as far as game conventions allow.

But shutting them down after getting emotionally involved with them is such a turn down. And you're also going to miss out on so much content.

You may not take the path of LIs, choosing only one and following that path so as not to hurt others. But that's the point, to make the player experience real emotions, including pain and discomfort. That's what makes a game memorable.

And then after that decision point there is also Zoey showing up, is she another solo LI path or is she joining one of the others or is she just there to complicate things again? I don't get it.

Is this an "others" path thing? But there is no Page in it, or is it the Page LI path where you get all those 4 girls together? Or is it just a fake tease?

Zoey reunite in possible on Others path, where you can return to her in honest way, or you can leave your new LI, who you chose in Ep. 8 and you are already building a relationship with. Anyway, Zoey relationship is solo.
This pic hints at Sage's sub-route if you chose kinky relationship in Ep.9. You can get a threesome with Sage and Camila in that case in Ep.11, maybe it will be even more kinky later, or maybe it will ruin their relationship... We'll see.

I just consciously go into a playthrough and say "I am going for X's content, I will ignore Y in this playthrough and leave their content for another time". You don't really have to "turn down" people much in this game if you don't show interest in them.

That's why you don't pursue all of them at once, so you don't break any hearts.

You're going to not have as enjoyable a time if you're constantly worrying about all this, just go with the flow.

But even if not, how often am I supposed to play the game? 5 times. That's a lot of repetitive content. And if I wait long enough between playthroughs that I can enjoy the shared content again I can also play the same path again, especially as long as the game is not finished because I would also want to know how that path continues.
Also doesn't it bother you if you played e.g. Maya+Josy path (which is basically the original path that was build up as a love path from scene 1) and then you play another path and they are together without you acting like they don't love you and vice versa? It also just feels weird to have multiple versions of the same universe.

Is it weird to play New Vegas and then replay the game another 3 times minimum to get the NCR, House, Legion and Yes Man endings? It's how Being a DIK was designed to be played, and you are ignoring that fact to go on about the way you are, wanting everything in one go.

I don't go to a nightclub and complain they won't play any Mozart, it's the same here.

I've been playing since Episode 4 was the latest episode so I've always had plenty of time between each update to play through all the paths, the repetition never bothered me due to waiting between updates.

The last time I played was when Ep6 was out. Like 4 years ago. And now I wanted to replay it with the 5 new episodes and the first 6 were great again as well as ep7 just for everything to crumble in ep8. That kicked me out of the fantasy. Now I'll wait for the game to finish and maybe then I'll give one of the routes a try (probably Maya+Josy because how the fuck can you have this opening episodes and not end up on their route?) and see if I can enjoy it with all the other characters around as well as if there's enough sexual content in it to be enjoyable. Otherwise I'll play something else and wish you guys a great time with it I guess.

Yeah like I said, I might give it another try like that in the future (probably in a couple of years when the game is finished) but right now that's not an option because I just played through the game for hours over the last couple of days getting involved with all the girls just to witness the heartbreak at the end of ep8. I get what you mean, but you accept to feel bad about losing someone at some point because you want to feel good about being with them and you don't want to be with someone so you can feel bad about losing them at some point.

And you have to be able to turn those sad emotions back into said love and affection.
I felt good about the girls and the game for the first 7 episodes, knowing that there was a risk for the desired outcome to not happen and now I feel bad about it because it didn't happen but can't do anything about it but move on... and that's what I'm going to do now. Until some day (maybe), have a blast everyone.

I think the only time I've actually been upset about an LI being dumped is Layla. What sucked even more is being forced through that to pick my desired target. I know that happens constantly in these kind of titles but she took it the hardest.

I can't really tell for sure who took it extra hard in this title as I've probably missed a bunch of scenes. Maybe Josy? She really, really seemed like she was in love with the MC but she doesn't seem to flip out or anything. Maya doesn't seem bothered. Sage is too strong, Jill can see you as a bad guy and shrug it off and Bella probably thinks it's for the best. Not sure.

I might once the game is finished. But how do you turn down Maya and Josy? Or do you let them turn you down? I get the feeling they are the hardest characters to avoid if you are not on their love path. Because they still share so many scenes with each other.
On the other hand I also got the feeling that Sage might be the character with the biggest chance to also have sex with other characters Which would be a good thing because being limited to the sexual content of just 1 character for the whole playthrough is pretty dull.
