Yes, it was in Episode 2 when Riona's sexual escapades were mentioned and in Ep. 1 when we first look at the frats we can see Dawe touching her.
It was a much calmer 2019, AVN culture was just developing and there weren't as many of those pesky activists, the developers were more daring in such vanilla VNs and did not engage in self-censorship.
Now we see that DPC introduced a whole cast of third-party girls so that DIKs could have their own couples and a semblance of a personal life, which makes the game more alive. The main thing is that these girls don't intersect with MC, but this was enough to make one redditor cry about KRJ/Jamie.
But in some way, the unspoken rule was broken when we got the Elena scene.
2019 had its ups and downs. For example, some AVN's introduced girls that were virgins in their 30s and they were hot and easy going. Others like DPC's work introduced more of a realistic aspect where the girls had or has partners.

I said it before and will say it again, I am content with the amount of female characters that the MC interacts, no new additions like leanne or felicia but the cut off point is after cindy/sally content, not a big fan of KRJ, she is sweet but jamie needs a win after the disastrous dani relationship.

And Elena we had it coming after EP4 if we stayed over at the HOTs house, she said I will let JB know. :devilish:

Lets be honest about ep4 if mc doesn't act like a pussy at the end of ep3 Josy and Maya would had broke up everything was pointing to it
The fact that you think that shows you don't understand what happened there. It's easier to think this way when the person you're in a relationship with isn't around and, as Josy put it, you can't be with them every day. But when they see each other and then get to talk to each other it makes them reassess, the feelings they have for each other come flooding back and it makes them second guess themselves. The MC's reaction had nothing to do with that, it was just the fact that they saw each other again. Him leaving the room does give them a chance to talk and it allows them to rediscover that connection with each other, but I honestly don't know what else solo fans expected from that scene. Seems to me they would rather have had the MC get annoyed and basically pressure whichever girl they like to dump the other one for them but they don't seem to see how that would have been a bad move and things weren't that simple.

and ep5 on friends path Josy admits that "Maya was only sure thing I have" she never would had said if MC didn't act the way he did.
Again, that's nothing to do with the MC's reaction it's literally just the feeling she got when seeing Maya. Josy knows what she has with Maya but the MC is an uncertain thing and after reconnecting with Maya she simply realised she wasn't willing to take that risk.

Now on the throuple ep5, ep8, ep9 Josy and Maya say to each other they need to communication and not keep things from each other. Ep10 and ep11 confirm they did not do that Maya is comfortable with MC and Josy prefers to be with MC and maya makes her feel she doesn't matter and feel love for Maya is no longer there.
There are mentions of "communicating" in Ep 5 and 8, but it's not at all like you say it is.

In Ep 5 during the hangout, it's about this relationship with all 3 of them, it's about making sure they ALL (MC included) voice how they feel about this specifically relationship as they go along. So "communicating" in this context isn't about addressing the issues that got brought up in Ep 11, although they could have, it was just another example of them referring to surface level communication that wasn't dealing with the deeper issues. It was more about simple assurance communication than it was about the more vulnerable feelings.

Ep 8 has Josy say, "We're communicating", which is true because they are, and we saw it earlier in her room, and the reason she says this is because in Ep 7 after Patrick's visit, Maya retreated but now they're back to talking. But again, it's surface level communication, it's them just simply talking to each other and addressing the most immediate concerns and not expressing or dealing with the greater vulnerabilities and concerns expressed in Ep 11. Those are where the real issues lie but they were never discussed before Ep 11 which is what makes that convo so much more significant.

The issue with their communication is that they (Josy specifically) never really delve into how things are actually affecting them. They talk to each other about various things, but they don't talk about the really difficult issues, the things that make them uncomfortable, they mostly just talk about the safe topics. They're not always completely open to their feelings and being truly vulnerable with each other, and this is where Ep 11 was a turning point because they finally did that. So in the past when mentioning "communicating", they've considered it enough that they simply speak to each other and when they do it's been about safe, every day issues and the most immediate concerns, but their communication needed to be deeper than that and they needed to express and address the deeper vulnerabilities which they now have. How that will be dealt with going forwards remains to be seen, but they have reached a very different level of communication and understanding than ever before.

Could the throuple be save yes do I believe that it will no.
You don't believe it because you don't want it to be, let's be honest here. You say it like that because you're trying to be nice, but you don't want to see the throuple survive.

Fact is, DPC could easily, if he wanted to, make it so that after this Ep 11 convo, they really do deepen their relationship and find their way back to the strong feelings they had before without any input from the player, there's honestly nothing stopping him from doing that. It's entirely up to him how this goes, but it's wide open in either direction. My personal feeling, and you can say this is bias all you want, is that they are going to get some time to work things out and they won't go from finally reaching this deeper point in their relationship to splitting up in the span of just one episode.

I see there talk as them realizing something is wrong with there relationship and that the feelings aren't what they should be but didn't go all the way with it.
Their convo is about that but it ends with them committing to at least try and get it back to what it once was because both want that.

The fact that someone must sleep alone and be sad is pretty telling
Honestly, that just feels to me like DPC did it for the drama and nothing else. I think he wants people to have the mindset that you have, that it's significant, when it will end up meaning not very much. Gotta remember that you can not say ILY to either girl and then spoon with the one whose scene you didn't get and you can still have very close RP ratio and scenes, so in that context the person you spoon with means very little because variable-wise, things can still seem good.

and also Josy just tells MC she glad it just them and Maya not there if she trully wanted things to work she would had told him and you can't say it because she doesn't want him to worry.
That's just part of the confused feelings Josy expresses later on. She does like spending time with him and she knows even then that things feel different with Maya, and it's why she's so cagey about saying that because deep down she's not sure why and doesn't really want to admit it.

And again nothing they do works this we know for a fact why would it start now.
Fallacy to say "nothing works" when they haven't done everything and when, as I've repeatedly pointed out, this level of vulnerability in expressing the deep, underlying issues is completely new to them and is what's been missing from their communication. Now that they've done this, they have a chance to move forward in a completely different way than before.

But then after viewing the trailer for myself, I find this bit.

So you could be onto something when you say
" i think somebody at rockstar have been playing BAD 0.o ", it doesn't sound as crazy as it is.

Yes. They were resolved.
No, they weren't. The MC just tells them how things have been, they say they've been lonely and found comfort with him, then they kiss and make up. None of that addresses the kinds of issues Josy expresses in Ep 11.

In Episode 6, Maya's uncomfortable with Becky
I honestly don't know why you're bringing up Becky here because she has nothing to do Maya and Josy's communicaton issues.

but that's nothing personal; they're just opposites.
Maya is interested in an orgy, but Becky doesn't talk to Maya.
Josy says Becky is nice, Maya disagrees. Becky reminds Maya of high school.
Maya's concerned about hell week and Quinn. (If your score with her is high) she'll ask MC to help her and Josy with the public sex task.
-They can then get it on in the library, but Maya has to go and they kiss goodbye.
In their dorm, Josy wonders why Maya isn't feeling sexually confident around MC, only around her.
-They are quiet for a moment. Josy suggests that she is there with her when she has sex with MC. Maya asks why that's necessary; Josy says that to make her feel good before MC sticks it in. Josy points out that Maya has been adventurous in the past with her.
-Maya pulls out a Mr. Dildy. Josy then turns it on, asks Maya if she's in the mood; Maya excitedly says she is. They have sex with Mr. Dildy for a while. After eating Maya out, Josy sticks Mr. Dildy in Maya, and ramps up the intensity to maximum. Maya very much enjoys this.

Seems Josy and Maya are pretty healthy. They've resolved whatever nervous issues Maya had. Josy is a healthy, mature girl.
Again, none of this means a damn thing when it comes to the deeper issues addressed in Ep 11.

Not sure about a scene in Josy's room...but...
In his room, MC sets up his room with flowers, food and drink, but refuses to be there, so Josy and Maya can sort out their differences. Instead he goes to stay at Maya's dorm. Josy and Maya have in fact already done so, but they keep going back and forth, and they acknowledge that they need to spend more time together. But they both decide to take advantage of what MC has done for them.
-Joys essentially convinces Maya HOT life is great, and that no one would care about their relationship, even President Sage.
-They joke how the MC's room solves all their problems.
-Next morning, Maya and Josy are asleep together. They both admit they made progress with their relationship.
-They all fool around together

**Watery Spa Birthday Surprise Good Times**

**Becky's Dorm Party Fun Times**
-MC can spend some alone time with Maya
-MC can spend some time with Becky or Josy. Like her memorable dance scene.
-MC remarks that Josy doesn't say "no" enough, and Josy replies that she ends up being MC cuts her off "too nice?", and Josy excitedly replies "Exactly!"
-MC reminds Josy that there is nothing wrong with saying "no".
-John Boy tells Elena that he and the other DIKs have been keeping Josy and MC's relationship a secret from Tommy. Elena believes that Josy is in love with the MC, as she cites this: "You should hear the way she talks about him every time he comes up or how she lights up when he is mentioned."
Surface level stuff, not addressing the deeper issues.

Everyone's happy and communicating very well.
General talking and having relaxed fun times is not the type of communication we're talking about. That's basic stuff.

Everybody can and does do that, but being truly vulnerable and letting them in to your deepest feelings and insecurities is on another level and it's the level that's never been addressed up until now.

There are no communication issues, or outstanding problems, or any that haven't already been addressed.
Factually untrue. Literally everything Josy talks about are the unresolved, unspoken, and unaddressed issues.

  • Episode 9's Hallowe'en party was great for the two, outside of Oscar being mean to Josy. The Truth or Dare scene, who to choose, sex later, all positive.
  • Pete's phone call just made Josy embarrassed
  • Episode 9/10's Tommy/Walk of Shame event, Josy's trying to resolve the conflict, and MC calls for the DIK code.
This has nothing to do with anything.

-Elena congratulates MC & Josy on the polyamorous relationship.
-In class, Josy says that she can't focus on their new curriculum, because she is thinking about MC, Maya and herself.
-Maya asks if she and Josy have to act differently around each other; Josy asks how. Josy responds that she shouldn't think about it, and if she ignores what people say, then those problems will tend to go away. Maya thinks being that confident with their relationship is scary, and Josy responds that's what makes it so exciting, and she reminds Maya that she can publicly kiss him without being judged; this would put up an effective smokescreen.
-Josy dares Maya to do it, and she does, and kisses MC on the mouth right in front of Derek. Later, Isabella approaches them, and Josy and Maya thank her for coming to the DIK's Halloween Party and partying with them.
-MC asks Maya what the kiss was all about, and Josy tells them. Josy then rushes off to her next class.

=Josy is mature in how to deal with the throuple, moreso than the MC and Maya. She dares Maya to kiss the MC in public, and she does. She ignores what people say about them, and is confident and excited about the relationship.
=The date with Josy and the pillowfort is optional. It's all positive, and Josy ends up being embarrassed about her picture of the MC.
=Maya has no problems with PDA with the MC.

Becky round 2 in the Library? Even Josy asks her to leave, now that she knows about the throuple and is "wanting" to join it.

Regardless, Josy likes spending time in the throuple, even if they're not studying the same topic. She will also protect her relationship, and can understand that Becky has a crush on the MC.

There are no issues here. I highly doubt Becky -- whom Josy actually likes -- is an issue or threat to the throuple.
All of this literally has nothing to do with what we're talking about.

It's pulled out of the air. Fabricated melodrama.
It isn't, you just never saw it.

They've had plenty of conversations, distractions, heart to hearts, sex, etc., throughout the chapters, and resolved those problems. Not just Episode 4.
Nothing close to what they did in Ep 11.

The chirpiest, most positive, mature girl out of all the 5, goes "wah". For no reason.
Chirpy, yes, mature, hardly. She's spent most of the game with love goggles on and been blinded by them and her asking the MC in Ep 11, "Do you like me?", is one of the most immature, childish things imaginable. She's in a relationship with him and they have sex, how can she possilbly think he doesn't like her? Such an oddly childish question to ask of him.

Ok, I’ve got a bit of a headache behind my tired eyes and I thought I read Jamie needs a whip… For a brief moment, I thought “why in the hell would you want or trust Jamie with a whip”? *Sigh. Yes, Josy, I am so stupid sometimes.

In the flow it seemed to me she was asking the age old "I know you love me but do you like me" kind of question. She's questioning her sense of self, who she is and what she wants to be... triggered by that Oscar comment that got him blasted in the face. She wants to know if the MC likes her as a person and not just intimately. Of course that's just my subjective perspective and I know jack and squat. :)

Why is it when someone points out the factual problems the throuple has throuple stans or some stans can only reply with you don't understand what is going on?

Favoring one girl Josy and Maya will breakup and MC goes solo with that girl if you choice not to say I love you yet maybe there chance with both girls but that is not a sure thing in any sense. Could the throuple be save yes but there are 2 things working against it Josy and Maya relationship never gets better and they never do the things they talk about that is game fact thinking this time will be different sounds like insanity. There words say they still holding on to the love they used to have but there actions clearly tell a very different story. The second thing working against the throuple is the fact the game makes you pick one all the time and now those choices matter because you get the girl you favor most balance is no longer possible. Since my Mc tells Josy I love you and she returns it that very likely means my MC will not be giving a chance to say it to Maya if there was a chance that undo's everything that just happen I don't think DPC would do that. Again could there be a path where it save yes I'm just not putting money on it but it could happen or what I think is more likely to happen you can date both

In the end, the throuple is doomed 'cause DPC decided so.

Like I said before, here on the forum, any kind of open relationship, throuple or other kind of non-monogamous relation can only function with clear communication, completely committed to a kind of sincerity that even older people rarely have.

if it mod that could be why, also just to make there is data in the appdate right?

Why is it when someone points out the factual problems the throuple has throuple stans or some stans can only reply with you don't understand what is going on?
Because solo stans often continually prove they don't. So much of what you said proves that.

The only thing that's truly "factual" is that these deeper more vulnerable issues expressed in the Ep 11 convo were never addressed or known before making it very different to all the times we've seen them talk before. So trying to say that they were ever on the same level is a complete fallacy.

Josy and Maya relationship never gets better and they never do the things they talk about that is game fact thinking this time will be different sounds like insanity.
You really can't see the difference, can you? You have absolutely zero ability to recognise or understand how this convo touches on things that have never been touched on before, that Josy bared her soul to Maya in a way she never has before, that she made herself more vulnerable than she ever had before by telling Maya all the things she dare not have said until that point because she feared what would happen if she did, that these were all the things she tried to bury deep down but were eating her up inside.

Every convo before this were simple quick fixes, easy apologies, and surface level chats, but they never got anywhere close to the level of deep, revealing vulnerabilities like Ep 11 did nor they did they express as much resolve to deal with the issues as this one did because they never really got to the root of them before. In fact, the previous convos never even really had them outright say, "we're going to do better now", they just made up and carried on. So when you say, "they never do the things they talk about", the fact is they never actually talked about doing anything until this convo in Ep 11 because they hadn't actually talked about what was really going on.

This convo is different, and that's factual.

There words say they still holding on to the love they used to have but there actions clearly tell a very different story.
Their actions don't diminish their words. Both things can be true.

The second thing working against the throuple is the fact the game makes you pick one all the time and now those choices matter because you get the girl you favor most balance is no longer possible.
You can heavily favor one, you can have things be close, you can have things be even, and you can have RP ratios that are widely different or very close. There are many ways it can be and DPC making it an automatic choice in Ep 11 isn't necessarily a determining factor in anything when that's the case, it's most likely been done to create this air of uncertainty and unpredictability more than anything else. Whoever you get in Ep 11 can literally be decided by the slimmest of RP ratio margins. A 1% difference in RP when you have even scenes, don't say ILY, and spoon the other girl forcing you onto a solo route would be a ridiculous way to go and makes little sense. The fact that you can have a favorable standing with both and heavy standing for one surely means it can go both ways based on those factors.

Since my Mc tells Josy I love you and she returns it that very likely means my MC will not be giving a chance to say it to Maya if there was a chance that undo's everything that just happen
Not necessarily. It could just be that he is given different opportunities to say it to each. Not being able to say it to one in this episode does not preclude it being possible to say it to the other in Ep 12.

Nothing is decided yet as far as any of us are aware, especially since it is still possible to have things very close between both girls and to have held off on saying ILY.

Like I said before, here on the forum, any kind of open relationship, throuple or other kind of non-monogamous relation can only function with clear communication, completely committed to a kind of sincerity that even older people rarely have.
And nothing's stopping them from doing that, nor is anything stopping DPC from doing that. The Ep 11 convo seems to have moved them in that direction so now we just wait to see how DPC follows through on it.

I deleted the entire appdata folder, opened the game again and exported the save, still nothing
At the end of season 2 it should make a "special save" with a special "girl icon" that shows which path you are on. In season3 you need to use Import (not continue) and it show you that same "special save screen". If not the only tip I can give you is if you have scrappy mod installed on your season1/2 folder then install it in your season3 folder before you try the import. Good luck!
