Welcome to your new addiction. You should avoid trying to be completionist on a single playthrough, that won't happen. Yes there are 2 sides, basically good guy or bad guy and while you can make choices on both "sides" in order to get the really spicy choices for either side you need commitment, which makes sense doesn't it? After first few episodes of the game the side you lean on with Major Choices will be locked in and your "personality" will be represented by your permanent affinity.

This is the devs passion project, all the attention is on this, but updates come out basically annually (and heading towards bi-annualy if I am honest). However updates are fully developed, polished, tested and quite sizeful. If you like to dip your toes in many parts of the game you will feel it, if you want to focus on a specific love interest you might feel the time spent developing does not match what gameplay you were able to enjoy.

This game is about discovery, try different things, but I recommend you first try to get through the game at least once no matter with how many imperfect choices you make just to get a feel for it. Then when you will play it again not only will you unlock more content you will understand where you have to steer your ship so to speak at any given time. Veterans of this game could play it blindfolded and show you things you did not even know exist. Some people discover new things in first episodes of the game even after playing it for years.

Like it or not, this is peak adult game this industry can offer. Enjoy! :)

i appreciate ur time replying to me , tho i have to say there is no complete "nice" or "dik" guy sometimes u can be a nice guy to those closest to u and be a pyscho to those who attempt to hurt them, i can see the game was a huge hard work to make yet i feel the dev restricted us with these literally nice/dik locked choices , i wished he let us chose how to act upon based on what we want at the time... also I'm glad to see he's committed to his project alone having too many is never a good thing for both him and his fans

Recently tried Law School. Very similar format, but it feels like it's making fewer mistakes than BAD. Sure, it's another college life VN. You can see the almost identical similarities to BAD (like the DIK/Selflessness score), and it feels like it's been done right.

Even the idle animation for eye blinks is a nice touch.
