Well in the scene with Jade and Kathy talking in the bar Kathy tells Jade to hire a lawyer, but Jade says Stephen will retaliate if he sees her using money for a lawyer so MC could use his money to hire a lawyer for Jade and possibly a PI to follow Stephen and gather evidence.

The money situation is a bit unbalanced, either you get too much and can’t spend it all, or can’t get enough (for example, buying the Christmas presents). Idk, I haven’t played with the minigames on for a long time. I usually just add whatever few $$$ I need in console command.
