Brave is faster, thinner and has way more extensions. Though the primary reason I switched from Chrome was Google's attack on all extensions that can block youtube ads in any way.

Brave runs all extensions from the Chrome store plus all the extensions they have been or will be banned. You have to get Ublock Origin and UMatrix from Github but it works like a charm.
