I would hope we get a choice, it'd be rather bullshit if something this important stays on the rails. But that also wouldn't surprise me.

If there's a complaint to be had its more for underwritten characters, but if its just the side girls, well they are side girls. Somethings gotta give somewhere.

Also, I never understood the hate for strippers/prostitutes in AVN. Still people too(characters, semantics). If its so unsavory to you, just avoid the interactions where possible and push past it when you can't avoid.

For me, this game has a lot of characters who are well written(IE: don't make nonsensical decisions that the MC white knights them from themselves.)
Whether you like them or not, that's always your choice.

What I find cool about DPC's writing style is that he aims to create imperfect characters. All the girls have their own advantages, downsides and issues they're dealing with. They don't always get along with the MC and there's plenty of disagreements, even if you act like a pathetic simp. Every player values different qualities and reacts differently to negative aspects. Sometimes the good things are enough to ignore the bad things and what one person dislikes, the other actually finds endearing. That's why it's totally pointless to indulge in waifu wars and try to change some random's mind and make them see things your way. Just enjoy your favourite girls and troll the haters :sneaky:

When I fully replayed the Interlude last year, I was surprised by how short it was. Other than that, it's a nice little story about a girl who doesn't know what she wants in life. Obviously there's an initial level of dislike, on both a personal and meta level—Zoey broke our boy's heart, and her story is getting in the way of Episode 9—but I like Zoey and her story just fine. Not in love with her or the San Diego cast, but it served it's purpose in my eyes. And her lewd was pretty hot :sneaky:

Understanding aside, it doesn't remove the fact that she's been introduced halfway through the game, so I don't have as much of an attachment towards her. Even now, she still feels like an outsider, despite her continued presence and relationship with MC. But I'm not upset by her.

It will, DPC has been putting those little choices in for a while, it happens too much to be a random decision.

The throuple will have 5 paths - based on your choices (most people will have to go back and start again, because if you chose 5 or 7 in a test in Episode 2 will probably be one of the core decisions).

All 3 stay together - live happily ever after.
Throuple breaks up and all 3 go their own way.
You leave, but Maya and Josy stay together.
Throuple breaks and MC ends up with Maya.
Throuple breaks and MC ends up with Josy.
