I thought about it in the past and I flopped around on whether it was "okay" for a DIK MC to do that. I eventually settled on a "Can't condone it but it makes perfect sense."

Doubly so if MC is a DIK and is pinning after Josy and wants to get back with her, so hearing that someone badmouths her and calls her names...well, that might trigger a part of him. Enough to punch the dude and take him down. And the fact that TOMMY goes to find the guy and give his own knuckle sandwiches seems to be perfectly in line with the Massive DIK mindset. I'm not saying it's okay, but it's perfectly in character and not something that's TOO far. I think it depends on just how close you are to Quinn. If you're just "a customer" I doubt Riona would care that much, since she'd see you as another paypig for the "restaurant". Whether you're a Chick or DIK, I think she's like Sage in that regard that she doesn't care too deeply, since both versions of MC are appealing. Either the sensitive guy who tries not to get into altercations, or the wannabe alpha dude that throws his weight around for the people he cares about (and those that piss him off for that matter).

I think if you have a deeper relationship with Quinn other than the restaurant bs, she'd have a problem with it, especially since MC actually got taken to the outside neighbourhood where "Buddy" was at, and we get the idea that Riona was NEVER anywhere near that area, given that Quinn tried to protect her from it. (And it makes sense: Quinn has some experience fighting but Riona is like a puppy.)

I have a strange feeling that Riona's path is about to go down the route of Mona. She'll drop out and disappear from college, never to be heard from again. I'm hoping it doesn't come to that, but it's not looking good. Mona was disgusted and felt trapped but Riona literally got tortured by criminals.

At this point I guess it's not as bad as everyone thinks. DPC won't do to Riona what he did to Mona by taking her out of the story. There are several reasons for that:
1-She is one of the most popular girls in the game
2-The recent change of her image by voting on patreon (what's the point of changing her image if you're going to take her out of the game)
3-That what happened to her gives the perfect moment to choose her as his main girl by supporting her and protecting her as his own girl from now on and that's the perfect moment to continue her route
4-Cliffhanger at the end also makes it clear that she probably wants to call mc or is just thinking about him.

I can agree with you there, but there is still a big difference between what really the furthest MC would do is, and what Riona thinks of him. If Riona would find out about what happened to Penny and Kylie (and she probably will), the seed of fear is set, especially if she also knows that Vinnie did something similar.
