Did you delete your persistent file from both your "game\saves" and from the automatic backup in "%APPDATA%\Renpy\BeingaDIKSeason3-<longnumberhere>" ? [On Windows. On Linux and Mac IDK]

If not, your install isn't actually clean.

  1. In which Episode does the crash occur?
  2. Is it an actual crash or just a forced quit? Go to the base folder (the one where the .exe is), delete log.txt and traceback.txt (if present), run the .exe, play until the crash happens, then share your log.txt and traceback.txt files.
  3. Can you share a screenshot of the last picture before the crash?
  4. If such a screenshot doesn't contain a dialogue, please share also a screenshot of the last dialogue before the crash.

Respectful question for the countless ardent fans of this incredibly popular game, including DrPinkCake himself. This is not an attempt to troll or offend. I simply have personal tastes that differ, and I'm curious if any of you can explain your tastes to me so that I may understand. I'm very much into "girl next door" types, or simple, authentic, cute, natural, fresh-faced, unadorned females--basically the opposite of everyone in this game, as far as I can tell. Obviously, these issues carry over to other games and much of society, but I'm asking here because this game is so popular and this thread is well-attended.

While I don't expect anybody to go through all of these, please pick whichever ones you'd like to speak to. What do you find appealing about:

* extremely heavy makeup that gives an unnatural look and obscures the face underneath
* painted-on eyebrows
* long fake fingernails with unnatural colors
* fake eyelashes
* facial piercings
* heavy tattooing
* unnaturally colored hair
* half-shaved heads
* bone structure that gives a severe, unfriendly look
* general vibes of jadedness, deadness, inauthenticity, severity, unnaturalness, invulnerability, and a sort of relative soullessness (as opposed to an innocent, full, fresh, present, lively, and whole-some energetic)

Some of those observations are objective and some are obviously subjective, but I'm just trying to articulate as best I can what I'm noticing and what I'm trying to understand. Thank you.

It's all a matter of taste, of course. Some of this is like asking why something is funny. You obviously lean towards girls like Jill and Josy if I'm reading between the lines correctly.

As far as that last bullet point goes, I can hazard a guess as to who you're referring to, and can only say this.

If you're so uncomfortable with all the things you mentioned, then you have a very restrictive appreciation of the female beauty.

There's no logical explainations. Just like for liking short or long hair, small or big boobs, ponytail or braids.

While I suppose more traditional girls like Jill or Bella are more your kind of girls, I personnally have no attraction for disproportionate proportions like boobs larger than a head or improbable waist. There's nothing natural about it to me, IRL girls like that would look like silicone doll.

I indeed find girls like Zoey, Melanie, Quinn or Riona way more attractive. Despite the weird hair color, tattoos or piercings. I mean compared to alot of anime, manga or vidéo games waifus there's nothing really weird about them. :BootyTime:

I don't really care what a woman looks like.
Personality is more important to me and if I had to favor someone, it would be Elena and Nicole.
Both of them are “natural” women for me.
They are both loving, funny, caring, not selfish (at least I haven't noticed) and faithful.
Those are the important qualities.

I never said anything about being "so uncomfortable". I just spoke to what I find attractive and what I don't. I never said anything about liking disproportionate girls with giant tits either. I have no idea where you're getting this stuff.

While I don't know names, I have aleady recognized these styles are common in other games and in life. That's precisely why I'm asking. There are common tastes that I'd like to understand if I can find anybody who's articulate and willing to share.

Are you able to articulate why you like the things I inquired about or no?

Like I said, it's like asking why something is funny. Can't always be explained in a satisfying way.

I don't necessarily like tattoos or piercings, but I do really like Rio and Cammy, even Zoey I like. That's more about personality, character, stuff on the inside that helps me look past what I don't like on the outside. Would I like them more if they didn't have tattoos or piercings? I'd say yes, but they aren't dealbreakers.
