Maya is understandably surprised, but not only accepts it but even realizes that Maya herself and MC are now in the same boat, being forced to hide their love.

Now, if Josy didn't already spill the beans, I would have said Sage would be someone else that MC could trust with the secret. Sage is his best friend, and Maya his closest.

If she is a real friend she should have just left and give them privacy but she stayed because it involves her crush
