The amount of time I walked back and forth to get this scene, and I never did , luckily I saw others posting it

IIRC this scene is determined beforehand, similar to how the party planning layouts are. You would have to reload instead of walking back and forth.

Yes, it was determined at the start of the BBQ whether you would get it or not, and the chances were slim. At least he could have made it a 50/50. I ended up forcing the scene at the start of each BBQ I was taking mushrooms, out of all my paths I think I got it naturally once.

I didn't try in the middle. But everytime I tried at the shrooms it worked for me.
