Zoey and Josy's situations are different.
1) Zoey is not in a relationship, and Josy is cheating on Maya.
2) Sage, Jill, Bella, Josy, and Maya don't mean anything to Zoey, and she doesn't even know their names. Zoey confesses her love to the MC, who reveals that he is in a relationship, and Zoey gives him the opportunity to make a choice. It's a fair exchange. However, Josy confesses her love to the MC, even though she knows that he is dating Sage or Jill. She betrays her friends, and it's a disgusting act.

that says a lot about Bianca too, but hey she is hot, so people have bias toward her too

That's not the case for me. I haven't played Jill's route, but what I've read in this thread is enough for me to consider Bianca one of the worst characters in the game.

That is my view on episode 10 too btw . an MC who is in a relationship with either Sage, Jill, or Bella, should not spend "alone time" with Josy and Maya, expecially with his history with them.

I agree with this. DPC should have added the "Don't go anywhere" option. I would always choose this option, even though I only play the "others" route. Unfortunately, we can't always control the MC actions. I would have liked to be able to decline the date with Josy in episode 1, as I don't want to kiss her, Maya, or Bella, and I don't want to ask Jill out on a date. However, who cares?
Yes, sometimes the MC acts like a jerk when the player has no control over it, but that doesn't justify Josy's actions.

I'm not sure if I understand correctly, but:
-We know about the room's significance from almost the beginning (Episode 2 IIRC?). When drunk MC tries to open it, it definitely makes Bella anxious. After ruining the Prep party, MC 'knocks on the wood', which happens to be the locked room and Bella is again seen a bit agitated.
-The reveal is shocking to not only MC and Maya, but also Bella - that's the last frame we see in E11. I don't think she would react in that way to the painting, that's being gifted by other LI.



I'll agree that those the commonalities justifty the theory, although I think that might be a red herring. We still have a long time to exchange theories, unless DPC pulls out an early release surprise

The story is simple. Maya is startled by a revealing painting depicting the MC and his LI. The painting is a painting created by Jacob in EP11, which he placed in the locked room shortly beforehand so as not to spoil the MC's surprise upon arrival.

The door was forgotten to be locked again. The MC is startled by the room, and Bella is startled because she realizes the MC is in the room.

But I think it's so Zoey still has a role to play, and Josy could be involved. What if, if she plays things right, she stays in college but just changes her major? There's a hint in EP6.

Look at the book Josy is picking up right now. Considering that Zoey might also go to B&R, Josy and Zoey could potentially become college friends.

One doesn't necessarily exclude the other.

Yet during the Thanksgiving party, if we tell Jacob to not hit on Zoey, he goes against MC's wishes anyway. Actions speak louder than words

Btw., doesn't Jill have the same book on graphic design under her bed? I went through my screenshots, but unfortunately I don't have any, so it might've been just a random asset used by DPC. It doesn't mean he can't use it to shape the future plotline, but he might've not used it deliberately in E6.

It seems pretty obvious to me that among the main five, the one with the most potential to befriend Zoey is Jill (of course, this can only happen in routes where the MC rejected Zoey or came back to her through "others").

It seems pretty obvious to me that among the main five, the one with the most potential to befriend Zoey is Jill (of course, this can only happen in routes where the MC rejected Zoey or came back to her through "others").

Well Sage is the one most like Zoey in personality, but that doesn't mean they'd get along. Sage's attitude on her own and Jill's paths is very anti-Zoey and I don't think she'd be more forgiving on Bella's or Maya's and Josy's paths. Then again Sage didn't initially like Jill either so it might just be a matter of them actually getting to know each other.

And I'm not sure if Other's path Zoey has much befriending chances. The main girls all seem to be at least low key in love with MC no matter how you play the game so they might just be too jealous of Zoey. And it might go the other way too, so that even if they made the effort, Zoey might be the jealous and possessive girlfriend. Or it could be dependent on Zoey being DIK or Chick.

But with rejected Zoey Jill does seem the most likely to make the effort. There's just a chance Sage might do something surprising. Again.

If the MC tells Jacob to stay away from Zoey, it means two things. The MC still has feelings for Zoey, and Jacob is a fake brother because he's still hitting on Zoey behind the MC's back.

You don't need to want someone back, but it can still be painful to see someone that was romantically significant to you forming a relationship of sorts with another person. The reaction doesn't have to be logical at first (or at all), since it's emotions we're talking about. Pure sentiment is all it can take to evoke them.

At that point he has been rejected already. Him saying "I just wanted to fuck her anyway!" doesn't mean a lot, as he could just be defensive about it. I don't think he would go out and say that he is actually in love with the girl MC was in a relationship with when he is there to make sure that "they are cool".

I'm with you here. Rejection, especially if there are some feelings involved, is rarely easy and defensiveness is to be expected. It's young people we're talking about, there's still a lot of emotional development ahead of them.
