Except, Maya whole storyline and existence would be meaningless and pointless.
Her whole storyline is nothing but her having an indecent relationship with Josy what her father disapprove.
If anyone is pointless in the story is Maya. Josy still be the Summer crush of MC, she could still almost go away, giving MC "the one that almost get away ", theme, and when he meet other girls She show up like she did. Hell even Quinn's restaurant would been more personal for MC if it was Josy who Quinn wanted to manipulate in to it.
Nothing would really much change without Maya, hell , we could really be spared to deal with Derek also. and Could have a better BFF, like Sage , or even Tommy and Rusty.
and just think about all the possible different Threesome scenarios with Josy , but sadly she is bound to the :

I have never shed so many tears or been covered with so many goosebumps, or had such shaky breath and elevated heart rate, as when I play this game. I can't imagine this industry without this game. What I could picture as the 2nd highest quality game in the industry would be always changing first of all, and second of all it wouldn't even come close in the standards set here - both technical and artistic, not to mention the detailed lore. I think it's important for a high quality media of any kind to invoke both positive and negative emotions, because if it's only on one spectrum it doesn't feel organic and fades from memory quite fast. Whenever I hear someone say they have never tried this game even tho they are aware of it, I think of ancient humans seeing someone cook a delicious meal in fron of them and then deny to try it because they are satisfied with raw meat and bitter fruits.
And where do I even begin about the cast of the game - so many different flavors, distinctly developed over time to not only make sense on their own, but compliment each other in a coherent universe. Even the characters that MC does not interact with directly or have no real future prospects with, can still make you 'The Player' feel for them and related to them, and be excited for them and their story in the future. Whenever I play from fresh to try a different pathway I stop and think at various checkpoints how beautifully this game has flourished. And there have been a lot of characters who are not just background extras - who knows what DPC will cook for them. At one point Beth, for example, was just a cafeteria worker - now she had a pretty important role in a huge part of the plot and once that gets resolved maybe she could even get more prominent role as one of the late love interests or at the very least opportunity to become closer to MC as friend or study partner. Not like I have strong belief that will happen I'm just trying to say how possibilities such as that are not completely outlandish and that's a marvelous thing to have for any game.
Sorry for long post, just felt emotional after freshly climbing out from another BaDIK gaming session. Of course it would be great if DPC considered hiring a team to train under his strict supervision to increase production output without losing much or any of his signature vision, but maybe for the next game eh.. I feel priviledged to witness this legendary game in its time.

A few weeks after Season 3 is completed it and packaged for things like steam.
Thinking it over since yesterday, I actually think this status update is particularly illuminating on one aspect of DPC's thought process. Namely, what they consider to be a spoiler.You must be registered to see the links
I've been planning and writing dialogue all week. I have tackled two scenes that I think will be among the top five biggest scenes of the episode. The scenes were of both canon and branched nature. I also wrote four other scenes of medium length, also of canon and branched nature.
Right now, I've chosen to focus on canon content to work toward finishing the backbone structure of the episode.
I will return to posing static renders next week. With all that's been written these last couple of weeks, I estimate that I need to pose at least 1000-1300 static renders to catch up with the writing again. I also need to work on a lewd scene soon, but I have to write one before I can do that.
The animation queue still has work for a few more weeks, but I want to beef it up some more. The speed has been very solid lately.
It's been hard to post any previews this month, mainly because of spoiler reasons. Unsurprisingly, it's a very spoilery episode. But I'll try to find something worth posting for you soon.

As some theorised it does seem that to DPC what they think of as a spoiler is any image of a key scene related to canon events that aren't directly the result of something we've seen in a previous episode. So seeing MGs in a waiting room at a hospital isn't a spoiler because it's directly tied to the ending of last episode, and a sex scene or relationship scene isn't a spoiler because it shows an existing situation you'd expect to happen. However a scene where we were to see Bella and Fuckface arguing/upset etc in her house would currently be a spoiler because it's related to the contents of the room which we haven't seen yet.
Given they've confirmed to mostly have been posing canon scenes the last few weeks (including the end of the episode) we at least know most of the canon scenes will be "new" plot points (or fleshed out details we haven't seen before).

Although this wouldn't necessarily be related to the contents of the room, if they were to argue/be upset, it could be over any number of things. If it were relating to the contents of the room though, it still wouldn't spoil what those contents are, just one of the possible reactions to them.

Yep, I'd argue that a preview of Bella and Fuckface in a argument would be the least spoilery thing we could see. It would weirder for them not to have any arguments, especially on her path.

Not necessarily. Maya alone by herself is also likable. In a way both Josy and Maya might been work better if they were not a couple , but friends. But DPC wanted to them to be a sligty diferent than Melissa and Megan was ,

Im sorry but if 1 render is enough to spoil the story, you know it's a bad story to begin with. Also checking the previews he posted on this episode almost non of them are "canon" the police scene for example can be considered canon because it will happen no matter what, but the rest seem more like based on choices scenes.

I don't think so. The second one is probably canon, since it's obviously the girl waiting in hospital after Derek incident.

And since Sage and Jill became besties in all path, the yoga scene is also probably canon.
