You can be a DIK with Bella, but you just need to prove yourself in Episode 3. Basically do good on tests, don't beat up Troy, don't wear the helmet, don't insult the cafeteria food, try to kiss her, try to pay for her lunch.

How long is the class anyway? It started in November, will it extend into the Spring semester? There might not be a need to do anything but keep it secret a little while longer.

What we might get is the teachers feeling less guilty about it when there are no active classes with MC which would be nice, but an open relationship can only happen if the teacher quits or when MC graduates. And in the latter case they still have to hide the fact that the relationship started while he was still a student.

Also while Bella might be done with actually teaching MC after he completes gen ed English and the class that was Bella's to begin with, Nora is definitely not going to be a one class only teacher. Unless she takes maternity leave and someone else has to be in charge of MC's lab work.

Rules vary by institution. One I was associated with for a time (I'm not saying in what role nor when), the rule was that romantic/sexual relationships between consenting adults were treated as potential conflicts of interest - they needed to be disclosed, and steps agreed to keep them from grading or directly managing each other - so for that institution, the problems with the Bella-Tremolo relationship would be her marking his exam, and her not having reported the relationship to her line manager, not the existence of the relationship.

It's also possible that Nora could be covered by a different loophole - the pre-existing relationship one - if people are in a sexual/romantic relationship before they enter a student-teacher relationship, it's generally acceptable for their personal relationship to continue - it would be pretty extreme to require someone to get a divorce in order to be able to enrol at a college, and that principle can be extended down to more casual relationships too - though there can be rules against escalating a relationship under those circumstances.

There is exactly a 0% chance of that happening. The last update took 15 months to develop, and you think the next one is only taking 9-11 months? Not a snowball's chance in hell, especially since, for the last few updates, every update took 3 months longer than the previous one (which is a very much expected trend). And if extrapolation isn't good enough for you, DPC recently released some numbers, and behold: after 6 months dev time, he was about 33% done - so, 18 months for 100%, which means September 2026. I'd say +/- 3 months at the absolute most. Anything shorter than 15 months is delusional, and later than December 26 is only happening if something goes REALLY wrong, like DPC falling ill for a prolonged amount of time.
