I consider that shared favourite song foreshadowing for the revelation that Bella knew Lynette. It was Lynette's favourite song and so it's their favourite because it reminds them of her.
I think Cathy & Neal would be a better match, maybe the MC could invite his dad to the Christmas concert & introduce them if Cathy attends.

Number 1: No, I believe this is just a hiccup on their relationship UNLESS you favored a LI in the entire run for example a maya only or josy only. In ep 11 on their path MC goes on a date with Josy or Maya. It depends on which of them has gotten more attention from the player. If you had Maya's scene you've given her more attention, which is the correct way to play.

Fortunately enough I have the same answer as you on this one - we have couple of chances to defuse arguments between them, like telling M/J to don't fight when they arrive at the halloween party and argue over the costumes.
