What do you want it to look like?
"Are you in a relationship? Then I'm sorry, I won't bother you, I'll go fuck Jacob or someone else."
Do you want a game like this? This is an AVN. Almost all the girls in the game want the MC. They will leave their partners, they will cheat on their husbands, and they will betray their friends. This is the law of games in this genre. It's strange that I have to explain such obvious things.
You seem to be explaining what you think an AVN is. There are methods to this.
Just because female/male wants MC, doesn't mean it has to happen in the way
that it can. And definitely not the way it did.
It has to
- respect the players choices (e.g. Crossroads)
- not undermine the very concept of the game and it's elements (Being a DIK is a slice of life in college)
- give us a good reason (why? e.g. The only reason is: because Zoey was stupid, and because you can.)
Well guess what? The MC has realized his feelings for all sorts of girls. We can undermine all of that, just because we can be nice to an old "girlfriend" who was selfish in the past.
- We can talk Riona into believing in monogamy (while still being unable to help her...)
- We can slowly get Quinn to trust you, despite her keeping everyone at arms length.
- We can allow a hardened stripper to learn to love.
- etc.
Oh, that girl who
left you and is back now? Wow, let me drop everything. For several years.
Stories have a beginning, middle, and ending. DPC doesn't understand this. Just because your fave girl now is in there as an option, doesn't make the story suddenly good, especially considering the consequences.
If you think I think DPC is a good writer, that's not true. There are a lot of things in the story that I don't like. I just don't complain about it every week.
Yeah, and I need to complain about Josy and Zoey. Good for me? Why do you care? Oh right, I'm attacking your sacred cow. With disgusting tattoos, blue hair, and a selfish personality.
Yet there's a host of fanboys saying this is peak AVN.
I'll be just fine with my criticism, thanks.
I was talking about how Quinn, Riona, Lily, and the others in episode 9 are still far from the "relationship" stage. There won't be any drama unless the player decides to create it by continuing to date them, even though he already knows that he will return to Zoey in the future.
Says who? You? Who knows what their version of "the relationship stage" is. You've effectively dated and been intimate with all of them.
I'm not interested in Sage, Josy, Maya, Jill, and Bella. You know, it happens. That's why there's a "others" path in the game. Different people have different preferences.
And some of us can read and see attractive pictures.
I have no problem with that. I'll just tell her no, and I won't be angry with her.
The fact that Zoey wanted the MC is not the problem. I've already listed why.
