Where do I state I don't hate Nora? Or gush about her like other fanboys on here? She's unique in being a corollary or mirror of Bella, which I find interesting for storytelling reasons. DPC has always been open that he never wanted to work as corporations force their employees to - pretty much the main reason behind his venture into making AVN's actually(an escape from that structure) - yet grarg seems intent on having DPC work as a corporation does - efficiency and quantity, plus that need to feed the masses, rather than individuality and self-sustained production.
Quite sure you can hire people, and rent server farms, without forming a corporation.

You, like many fanboys, on many forums, can't see past their nose. DPC can do no wrong. And if they do wrong, it's easily forgiven, or whatever faux pas will be fixed in later episodes. There's a method to his madness, let the man cook, etc. All meaningless platitudes.
You're not being objective, you don't have a critical eye, and you don't know how stuff is made. You simply see thing and go "I like", and assume all things are good.
You will always feel that DPC is not doing enough because he will never work as you want him to. I think DPC works like a dog, but he's also narcissistic and now considers himself above reproach. I still appreciate him, though, because he has worked for over 8 consecutive years creating AVNs, both of which are (generally) highly received and praised, so he's somewhat earned that outlook, at least from my perspective.

Hiring help is not me wanting him to "work as you want him to." There are plenty of business and methodological models to create games, software, etc. I don't see any organization outside of "I feel like working on this this week." His status updates are pointless. There's even a meme going around about it. (55% this, I work on X, did that today, I had a good feeling!) Where's the plan? Where're the deadlines? WHAT are the deadlines? All software projects have a 1) goal, 2) multiple steps and path to get there, 3) methodology of achieving this. Like a sprint. This is literally just one guy winging it for years, and you guys are gushing over it.
Hell a waterfall model would be nice. But that would involve times, dates. Planning? Forethought? Consultation with experts or pros?
You, on the other hand, come in here acting like the greatest thing since sliced bread, yet I see very, very little evidence to place you above reproach(no one really is, tbh, but I can accept it easier when I am being "fed", so to speak, by said individual). Do A* trees, UV unwrapping, walk cycles, input rendering loops, physics engines, etc. mean anything? I can talk about my career in software dev, my schooling in multimedia, my analysis of media over decades, the creative writing book I wrote...but what do you care, if you're inventing some silly documentation about "practicality" when it comes to credentials?
Over a glorified spreadsheet engine? I went through some tutorials. It's really not hard, and Python is really not a hard language to learn and use.

Not one, one! Of you brought forth any numbers, or any arguments, that what DPC methods are fast, efficient, or he's doing the best. When all I've shown is that he's getting more inefficient over the YEARS. Nevermind all the horrible, forgotten plot threads, the completely broken and useless DIK/CHICK system, long and boring minigames, long and boring click walkthroughs, and the ever increasing roster of Others. Or the waste that is Zoey and her function, that invalidates the entire game, whose only main method of practicality would be "you're playing BaD wrong". But because you like his drama, he's great.
- He is not some Michelangelo telling the Pope "when it's done". Indeed, the opposite. (Note: it took 4 years to make the Sistine Chapel.) This is a Bloated Milk Machine for obvious reasons; and you and anyone else has yet to disprove that.
- He's a guy in a Poser app moving models around like a stop motion making renders. Ditto for animation. With the time it takes seemingly the same. Over the years...one time...he animated Bella's eyes! (While another game I can't mention has done it consistently per release...in every scene of every character!)
- His use of sound effects is almost non-existent.
- His description and intimate scenes are poorly written, as if everything is new again with 0 relationship progression. (Yes, the joys of knowing women's lit. There are standards).
- I will give him credit for a) finding excellent music and pairing it with scenes, b) having a money making method to afford that. And then screwing that up by putting them in random play in the next episode.
- But apparently, he can't afford extra help.
Apparently, scope creep is lost on him, and you, and others.
And somehow you think he needs to form a corporation, to hire people? If he wants to be tax effective, he should. But I bet he still won't hire people.
Oh, he also has consistently made 1.4 animations per day over the years. Which to my animation buddies who've worked in classical and various 3D engines, is, laughable to the point of getting fired in days by any animation studio.
He is one guy. He can afford to hire people. Social media people, streamers, etc., do this for making a video or two a week, but apparently, that's too complicated, when compared to making things in Ren'Py. (So, gotta stick to one guy?) But please, disprove this simple, axiomatic statement.
