No. MC was acting as Maya's beard at their house. That is to stay he was helping her pretend she isn't gay. Josy suggests that strategy if she knows about Chad being gay. The moment is awkward because Josy doesn't want to tell Sage she got the idea from Chad using Sage as his beard.
Maybe it's Vinny but I just don't believe it .. Vinny does not have any relation with the Nerds dude.. the camera is related to the Nerds because of the Letters! And the videos/pics who were sent to the Jocks! And the text messages from Ashley to Derek! And yeah those pictures/vids are old and it was before MC showed up i get that and Vinny is way to dumb to do it, And for Rusty suggestion well... Rusty leadership is weak he lacks the personality and character so his word doesn't mean anything.
To be fair, the nerds do seem to have hacked the laptop, so the could've hacked the camera as well. It's not entirely impossible that Vinny did put the camera there originally and just forgot about it, and then they later found out about it and hacked it too. Small detail, but that seems like a reasonable thought since the nerds probably never had an opportunity to actually install it themselves, and if they did they probably would've wanted it in a more important room than a closet.
