babies and their mommies, ofcI’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again;
As my dear old dad used to say, “there are only two types of people that like me in this world, babies and old ladies.”![]()

That could definitely make sense, but then what was Bella thinking she needed James's forgiveness for?Bella specifically thinks that a man hasn't touched her in three years (or rather, gotten her all hot and bothered), so I imagine the thing with Jill happened more recently than that, after James left. But I'm curious about there being a second event that made James leave, if not the death of their child alone.
Asking forgiveness for what's going on with MC is what I imagine is what it's supposed to look like when playing Episode 3, but it could be about whatever happened that made James leave. Or, what she thinks might be keeping him away, assuming he has the ability to return. That could definitely make sense, but then what was Bella thinking she needed James's forgiveness for?
The dialog from the script:
isa "(Married women don't fool around with young students.)"
isa "(...)"
isa "(They aren't intimate with friends either...)"
isa "(But that...that was different!)"
isa "(It doesn't matter... I've stopped it.)"
isa "(Please, James... Forgive me.)"
isa "(Please, just come home again...)"
isa "(It's been long enough now.)"
What Bella and Jill did was different "(But that...that was different!)" from her and the MC because she and Jill were just taking comfort from each other.
But she is finding herself sexually and romantically attracted to the MC.
Interesting discussion though, getting other viewpoints with angles I haven't thought of.
I wonder if it could be the fault of one Mr. Stephen Burke? That could definitely make sense, but then what was Bella thinking she needed James's forgiveness for?

She wouldn't have cordial conversations with him if it was the case. She shouldn't even been OK working in a place where someone blackmailed her.Could it be that the "different" situation that pushed Bella to potentially cheat on James was her being blackmailed into it by Stephen ?
That would make sense - this is before she kind of decides to act on her attraction to the MC in the pool scene.Asking forgiveness for what's going on with MC is what I imagine is what it's supposed to look like when playing Episode 3, but it could be about whatever happened that made James leave. Agreed, I think there is a roughly 0% chance that Bella ever did anything with Stephen. There's no way DPC would have Bella blackmailed into sex like that. She wouldn't have cordial conversations with him if it was the case. Uh... I'm not sure if gachi memes are still a thingsex dungeon
That's true, except it was with Jade. They were planning a threesome.Agreed, I think there is a roughly 0% chance that Bella ever did anything with Stephen. There's no way DPC would have Bella blackmailed into sex like that.
In Jade and Stephen's argument we see that Stephen approached Bella to "spice up" their sex life but was shot down.
This was done without Jade's knowledge so Jade ridicules him for the attempt pointing out that Bella was already in love and has a wedding ring.
sb "We agreed that we should try to spice things up, didn't we?"
ja "Yes! With each other! Not on our own!"
sb "Well, we tried that already!"
sb "Most recently with Isabella!"
sb "She was clearly already in love!"
ja "That's usually the case when there's a {b}fucking{/b} wedding ring on a finger!"
ja "Oh! And again with Isabella!"
I think we are on the same page. That's true, except it was with Jade. They were planning a threesome.
I don't understand why you're arguing about Bella and Steven if everything was explained in the game. They didn't have anything going on; they thought she still loved her husband, but in fact, she'd already fallen in love with MC.
Steven was with Kate.
Bella just had a kiss with Jill. it's only important to show Jill's bisexuality. DPC has some kind of fetish for having relationships with two girls at once.

She's nowhere near in love with MC at that point. Besides the fact that Jade says that line regardless, things were still on the more carnal side with Bella and MC in Season 1. Episode 6 is when you officially jump on her path, and it's definitely when things start to turn. That's true, except it was with Jade. They were planning a threesome.

The dinner with Stephen/Jade was in episode 1, she and MC weren't even doing anything then - much less developing feelings. She's nowhere near in love with MC at that point. Besides the fact that Jade says that line regardless, things were still on the more carnal side with Bella and MC in Season 1. Episode 6 is when you officially jump on her path, and it's definitely when things start to turn.
And I agree with the others, Stephen has done nothing with Bella, and is definitely not blackmailing her.
Hahahaaa.. yep, that was all it took - she saw the MC naked and suddenly her entire future, and his big dick, were laid out in front of her.
With the shocked look on Maya's and the MC's faces when the door was opened at the end of the episode it can't be just a normal looking bedroom.
Whatever they saw was totally unexpected.
(I get narratively why DPC had the door be unlocked, it led to the episode dramatic finish. But it's pretty unlikely that Bella kept the door locked previously but the night she has 6 guests over for dinner she forgets to lock it.)
I think by far the best theory is the miscarriage and nursery. Maya and the MC saw a crib and nursery items.
It's possible that it wasn't a miscarriage, maybe the child was born but died as an infant. SIDS or something.
The dead child was a girl as well.
Remember when the MC joined Jill and Bella in the park when they were doing yoga early in the game?
After Jill left with Tybalt the MC was arguing with Bella because Bella was being very protective of Jill.
The MC said "she's not your daughter" and then Bella had this brief but sad look on her face, just a second or so.

Or December 2026Sweet innocent child...
August at best, September probably and October at worse.
But DH! What if there's a drug lab back there?
Jamie was obviously lying, duhhhpretty sure (99%) that you're joking but at least it's an interesting theory at least and one I haven't heard before but I thought Jamie said no to Tommy
Christmas miracles are invalid for this game.December 202...5..?![]()
