I don't personally see any way Quinn getting arrested doesn't end with a bunch of pissed off fans.

We know that Quinn is not cooperating with police; her snapping the SIM card is proof that she doesn't want to be associated with the bust. So she can't expect any leniency from that quarter. Even if she admits she's the one who dropped the dime, all they'll see is one drug dealer ratting out the competition, not someone who got in over her head or wanted to get dangerous people off the street.

We know that Quinn's foster family hates it when she even acknowledges her past. If they learn she's been arrested for sneaking into the site of a drug bust, especially when it involves her father's old crew, there's no way they're helping her. That's probably going to just be the end of her relationship with that family, straight up. At that point, she's made her choice clearly.

Burke bailing her out is possible given his influence, but would he want to? It'd be putting himself at a lot of risk, since his public connection to her is tenuous at best. Sure, she's a friend of his daughter's, but getting her out of prison after an incident like this would be a stretch. Quinn might be able to blackmail him into doing it by threatening to reveal their real association with each other, but unless she can prove it then it'll be her word against his, and we all know how that will go. Even if it works, it would be classic Quinn - solving one problem by creating six more.

Who's even left to help her at that point? Tremolo doesn't have anywhere close to the resources or influence to get her out, even if he's on her route, and if he's not then forget it. Riona wants nothing to do with her, and I suspect most of the HOTs won't either when they learn the truth about all her shady dealings and what happened to Rio. Sage maybe, but I'm really not sure what she can do except bring the issue to her father, who again is unlikely to help unless he feels pressured to.

If Quinn doesn't have anyone to bail her out, then she's stuck. It's unlikely she'd be out of jail anytime soon - especially because Buddy and his goons will absolutely peg her as the reason for the raid and give her up on a silver platter. Without a miracle she'd be out of the story for pretty much the rest of the game, which would obviously piss off lots of people.

The only way I can see her getting out of jail without forcing the issue with Stephen is some BS deus ex machina type shit, like Tremolo going to visit her in her cell, the police chief being revealed as Lyanna's long lost sibling who feels bad about cutting off their sister when she married a commoner and wants to honor her memory by helping out their nephew, then freeing Quinn to make amends or some shit. Which would be incredibly stupid, and again piss off lots of people.

So most likely if she gets caught - which, let's be real, she absolutely would be because she's an overconfident idiot - she's only getting free by blackmailing Burke. I'm not certain exactly how she'd go about that, because she'd need hard evidence of his involvement in whatever it might be he's actually involved with - the restaurant, most likely. But he seems pretty good at covering his tracks so I don't imagine that's going to come to fruition quickly enough for her to rejoin the story.

Also we're speaking about a dev well known for having forced players to let a love interest burn in a house in fire. He's even proud of that. I don't think he really cares about pissing off fans. Honestly what he did in the trouple path for example, was clearly meant to piss players off. :HideThePain:

I never said he won't do it. Just that I don't see any solution that doesn't.

Arrest, jail...
Isn't it a bit early to jump to conclusions?
What data does the investigation have? What evidence?
What we see in the game, as outside observers, isn't obvious to the cops.
To make a charge, they need physical evidence, such as the presence of drugs in sufficient quantities, either on her person or at her residence, and of course, witness testimonies.
And that necessarily includes testimony from those who purchased the drugs from her.
Does the investigation have this material?
I'm far from sure. :cautious:

Because you're trying to find a rational and plausible answer. But that's not something DPC really does despite him claiming he doesn't do lazy writing, he doesn't even try to make the plotline realistic. :WeSmart:

Jonathan should have denounced Buddy and his crew years ago, after Lana's death. Of course he probably didn't know about Rox death but since he's aware that his former dealers have laced their cocaine with fentanyl why didn't he talk to the cops ? If he was so overwhelmed by guilt, he should have done it just to prevent that what happened to Lana wouldn't happened to any other potential customers. Buddy and his crew are still working at the same place 15 years later. Working as a counselor at a drug rehabilitation center, where he tells Lana's story and tries his best to make sure nobody else is harmed by them is fine but stopping the dealers who killed his girlfriend with their laced drugs should have been a priority. But apparently he was fine letting the responsible of Lana's death getting away with it.

Burke is a loaded guy, who could afford to offer himself a epic threesome with the restaurant five times a week but for some reason he chosed to have a silent quickie where he can be found out by his son, wife, buisness partners and colleagues, so basically risking everything. Jade shows us how its done, a motel where you can pay in cash and then you ravage that college ass all night and get your moneys worth. And even if Burke needs the "dangerous" kick, you take her 2 cities over and fuck her in public, but if he tried anything at the prep party, its just suicide. He does it nonethless.

Half of the drama with Sage and Jade happened because for something like two months, the MC never heard Sage's last name.

The MC is taking months to read his mother's diaries, apparently no more than 5 pages a day so we won't have a big reveal before it's convenient.

Dawe assaulted a teacher and can be seen distributing Cathy naked pictures many times in many place but nothing happened, somehow he doesn't get expelled.

I'd rather not talk about Maya tuition or Jill and Tybalt's blackmail because from a legal point of view, it doesn't make any sense.

The point is, if Quinn turned into a female John Wick or Bella suddently becomes a female Norman Bates in the next episode you shouldn't even be surprised at all :HideThePain:

The discussion is about Quinn getting caught breaking into a crime scene to steal something from a drug den crawling with cops. That's kind of hard to avoid going to prison. Obviously if she successfully sneaks past them she'll be fine, for now, but that wasn't really what was being talked about.

If she's going to go into the den, it's only when no one's there. She's probably going to get her father's stash.
She knows where it is, but Buddy didn't.
So she has reason to believe that the stash is still there and intact.

It is great, I agree.

But I can't put it above the Jill piano recital with the MC helping her out onstage. (So practice guitar enough times and transcribe the sheet music.)
That whole scene from start to all of them congratulating Jill and MC outside after is an absolute f'in Masterpiece.
Jill was so happy about MC helping out with the recital that she refused to invite him along when Bianca called Jill up the stairs. :ROFLMAO:

I thought that she would call the police that there has been a big gang shoot out and bring SWAT or whatever....everything you got.... "Me? ....I'm just a concerned citizen. You better hurry!"

I hope they release a DLC where we play as Quinn and sell weed at college. There will be knife fights and a minigame about growing weed at Bella's house. And a stealth mission to infiltrate Buddy's lair. They'll also tell the stories of Riona, Camilla, Mona, Sarа and Melani. Perfect!

It's Lynette. MC's mom's name is Lynette.

But enough nitpicking. Stephen bailing Quinn out pretty much has to be on the table if Quinn gets arrested. It might indeed be completely railroaded. Stephen has been shown to be very cautious so I don't think he would risk leaving Quinn in police custody even if he is confident she has no solid evidence on him. And if Quinn doesn't have evidence but tried to bluff, Stephen wouldn't dare to call it.

Publicly the only excuse to help Quinn Stephen needs is that she is a B&R student and he is protecting the school's reputation. If Jade suspects him of having ulterior motives she might think he was doing it to win Sage over. Not that he cares about Sage, but simply to fuck with Jade's and Sage's relationship.

Quinn being arrested and Stephen bailing her out would lead to the divorce, drugs and prostitution being tied together which then would lead to them being resolved together. There aren't that many episodes to go so some cleaning up has to happen soon.

But there are also possibilities in Quinn not being arrested and either running into Vinny on her way out or being seen by him. It's another way for Quinn to miscalculate with her plans and honestly after all her fuck ups it would be straight up wrong for her to simply succeed at something. I'd definitely favour those possibilities as MC's ability to do something about it is so much more plausible.

And of course she might not even do something like that in the first place. The crowbar and cutters are such a weird thing to pack, though.

Another thing that might end up being significant are the binoculars. They are Sage's. Quinn is specifically shown to take them from Sage's room and they've made an appearance in the game before. Maybe Quinn will accidentally leave them behind and police get suspicious because there is "Property of Sage Morgan-Burke" written on them.:eek::eek:

Have you considered that maybe Fuckface is just mentally-lagging after all those punches and kicks to the face over the years?

But in reality the thing is that BaDIK is not written to be realistic, it's an AVN version of 90s/00s TV and movies. It's in the same "realism" category as 90210 and Greek. There's also an obvious allusion to the latter given the main character of Greek is named Rusty.
