Yeah, we know him very well, in all his games there was no Harem... Wait... How many games have he developed?
To be fair, the last game had 1 love interest be a victim of domestic violence, another one be a (possible)rape victim, one of the 2 main love interests dying in a fire, another one ending up being a genuine psychopath.
So the track record for happy endings or at least semi-vanilla content isn't there.
