I'm pretty conflicted about it tbh.
If we're talking about it as a video game then it'd be a bit weird to visit Neil again with your LI so soon after the previous visit in episode 11. In that sense it'd make it so that Tremolo visits Neil on Christmas on the Others route but, as you suggest, visit the LI's family if you're on their route. Bella is the outlier here though, she will likely not be in the best mood after the locked room

Video game-wise, how about only Maya, Josy and Bella can see Neil? Same deal with the ILYs, only Bella and Jill haven't gotten the honor yet.I'm pretty conflicted about it tbh.

Be CHICK or Neutral at the end of Episode 4 to join the throuple, after that you can be DIK with no issue.

As Spock says, that's only for the initial joining of the throuple. After that you can be as big a DIK as you want.

its possible to swing to DIK after getting together with them.
You have to be at best neutral when you commit to them, but after you can raise it to DIK without any issues. In fact, you get some different scenes (like Josy flashing you at the Halloween party) if you're on the DIK path with them.

It's stuff like this that makes me laugh at all the people who complain about the DIK/CHICK system. It's always so much fun to discover new content by playing routes a different way, and see how much influence you actually have on the way the characters interact.

I played Mass Effect series with the paragon and renegade mechanic and it does not phase me especially with how DPC made it where you go one route, you can unlock certain girls interactions and what not
