First of all, thank you for the congratulations. I also wish you and all the fans of this wonderful game a Merry Christmas.
I largely understand your point. The MC needed time to cope with Zoey's return and sort out his feelings. That's why I've always been against the authors giving the MC too much backstory. The player's choices should be more important than the MC's feelings, which are tied to events that happened before the game began. If the player wants to tell Zoey in Episode 9, "Let's leave the past behind and start over," they should have that option.
When I started playing, I quickly realized the main five weren't right for me, and without a second thought, I chose the "others" in Episode 8. It never occurred to me back then that the blue-haired former protagonist might interest me. I didn't even play the Interlude until Episode 9. But then, while playing Episode 9, I realized Zoey was the one for me. When I saw the "You can sleep in my room" option, I thought, "Great, now I'm going to fuck your gorgeous ass until the morning." But Zoey left for the train, and my balls were probably the same color as her hair at that moment. But the one that upset me the most was episode 10. The MC blurts out his confession and leaves because he has more important things to do, like talk to Nick, Jacob, and other characters I don't care about. I was furious. I didn't care about Maya's damn contract (The funniest thing is that they didn't need the MC's help. Maya and Derek just had to come home for the weekend, wait until Patrick fell asleep or went to the store, get the key from the garage and pick up the contract), all I could think about was Zoey running away in tears and there was nothing I could do about it. Now that Zoey and the MC are reunited, I feel better and am more relaxed about the next episodes. But I still think it could and should have happened sooner, at least in the "others'" direction.

It's funny that I've never done that. As you rightly pointed out, Zoey ended the relationship herself. She has no right to be angry at the MC for having sex with other girls. Besides, we're back to the conversation about the limitations the story places on the player. Playing the father of a guy who's always loved only Zoey is impossible. The MC is always in love with Josy at the beginning (one of the worst decisions DPC ever made), the MC always develops feelings for Maya, he always kisses Bella and asks Jill out. And he only mentions Zoey when someone asks him about his past relationships. If the MC ever tells Zoey that he's always only thought about her, it would be a lie.

Well that was just one mention of what is likely a threesome early on in the dev cycle but it's surely not going to be the only one in the episode. The one from the "5 scenes, 6 girls" part in April certainly wouldn't be Jade/Cathy but that doesn't mean he hasn't done a threesome scene with them since then. Well I don't put that much stock in it being the PR girls just because they have more history with him. Just because they can have had or seen his dick already doesn't give them an edge, as far as I'm concerned. I think a pair of dorm girls have just as much chance and I think he was setting a few of them up for scenes with their interactions in Ep 11.

Also, the fact that he spoke of working on a PR scene 4 months after the "5 scenes, 6 girls" thing makes me further doubt it would be the PR girls.
