Yeah, that's my thing with these two from the start. I've said it before, so I'm not going to write another essay on this. I just want to cut them out of every one of my MC's stories and promote Quinn/Camilla/Melanie/Mona to their love interest spots. The only thing I want is a DIK option to say no to even being friends after the ending. I think Pinkcake may still give us that option in the future, depending what the dismal duo get up to, at least for those of us that refused them. Regardless, they will be part of the story no matter what, even for those of us that wanted to run when the escape hatch opened. Hopefully, we'll get the option to refuse to help our "friends" when they try to include us in their business.

I'm no fan of the Maya/Josy/MC relationship but I think it needs to implode for more than just the girls dishonesty. The MC is to blame too. All routes have something he's being a bit of a hypocrite over. It's never sat well with me that he makes such a big deal about them lying and acts like they somehow... owed him total honesty because they were functionally in some sort of relationship but doesn't extend the same courtesy back. Some routes are worse than others but he's never 100% upfront with Maya/Josy. Obviously the dude didn't cheat but he can't have it both ways. Either they were in enough of a relationship to be owed total honesty, or they weren't. He can't get upset Maya and Josy didn't directly name their partner to him whilst hiding so much shit from them.

He throws in Josy's face in the toilet that she said all this stuff about liking him (shit he mirrored back) whilst running straight into Maya's arms when she got to B&R but depending on the route Josy has to watch as he is lounging by a pool with the smokeshow that is Bella (via his Rooster posts) who is more than happy for him to crash at her place. Then he walks into a library just for Jill to throw her arms around him and plan a date. He's at a HOT's movie night, holding Sage's hand before slipping under a blanket together. Then Sage hops on his back and loudly announces they're off to brush their teeth together. I don't think Josy sees the MC that entire week without him actively courting another girl at the time... maybe the classroom when he's chatting with Camila.


As far as I'm concerned the dude can't have it both ways. Either they're casual enough to not have to tell each other their status with other people or they're not.

Seriously, I don't hope we get the railroading like with did with AL again, but I'm guessing that Josy is essential to the plot considering we couldn't really ignore her. I'm looking forward to see how the whole "let's just stay friends" thing will turn out.

My guess the "Stay Friends" route may turn into possible mutual friends with benefits, since there is an obvious attraction still probably, or it may be a one time deal with helping the girls being HoTs.
